Mo Shic Shlomi a young house DJ from Israel who has been known between progressive house fans for his dark and tribal sounds that he usually plays and that he already released under his Argonout alias.

Now, and after couple of years in the making Mo Shic finally will be delivering his artist album and releasing it in the market hoping he'll get the exposure he's been waiting to have..
The album will consist of 2 CDs, the first is a progressive Journey that's good for warming up and getting in the mood before clubbing and the other is a chilled experience that's perfect for relaxing and easy listening..

Most of the tracks are influenced by different and diverse sounds with some Middle easter influences.. i highly recommend checking out this album even for the ones not into Progressive House as it is very diverse and musically rich album!!

I would like to add sth in this topic, and a messge to our local DJs...
Guys, i think it's time for Lebanese and arab Djs to start developing their own sounds... Moshic uses oriental touches in his music (you should listen to his beautiful live mixing, just amazing!)...

Why not developing our own sounds as well, we Lebanese, Jordanian, Egyptians, Palestinians, Saudis, etc...? Why letting others "steel" our cultural heritage?

It's very crucial IMO that local talents start producing now... (although i know, it's not easy, cause very little support from anyone)..

But just needed to say it...

100% with you, it's not just "others stealing our cultural heritage", but also most of arab artists who produce electronic music are commercializing it by associating with such musical ignorants as Hayfa resulting in the cheesiest standards of music production, while the talented ones who are producing quality music are doing so under the Western sound (Aly & Fila and Fady Ferraye to name a few). The first group is bad, real bad, while the second group is good in its own sense, but it should also give it a go at more Eastern-influenced sound, while their more Wester-influenced productions pave the way for these Easter-influenced ones to break through to the West. I'm not sure if I managed to deliver my point clearly without causing confusion...
