All right my Review!
When i got the Album, you had to see me takin off the naylon and packaging, i was like a Dinausor!
i was a bit desapointed from the CD COVER material, as the VOLUME 1 had a cool cd case and Die cuts on the external hard cover and some UV prints, while the new one is plain, but with nice Gray and Orange... Went straight to my room but my sound system was busy recording and finalizing some sound production so i took my car keys and decided to listen to the album on a cruise!
Went to the sea side and played, Track 1 is on, Little Soul - Stel & Good Newz, really interresting Start up as u think ur CD is acutaly skipping or as if somethin is going wrong, and then u hear the kicks coming from far, with some nice chilly guitars on the sides, its a beautiful track, it reminds me so much of SASHA's style though... specialy the guitars..
Track 2 : You Won’t Bother Me (20/20 Mix) – Da Glass , is mixed for more then 55 second adding to the first track some good and strong claps that gives u a hint that its starts progressing, You Won’t Bother Me (20/20 Mix) – Da Glass has very funky bass lines, its a house track, funk n happy style, this happy and funky feeling keeps it on with track 3, 4 and on track 5 [Drifting Out Of Sight (FC Kahuna Mix) - Mellow] electronic lines hits in to make it more fuzzy, at this point i could tell this is DAVE SEAMAN'S STAMP.
Track 6 [Come To Me – Holden & Thompson] IS FUCKIN AWSOME! the guitars are there again but more heavy and merged with electric basslines and effects, and the female niosy vocal adds a very dimensional feeling in it, makes u wanna close your eyes and travel, but cldnt do that i was driving ! at 75% of runing time of this track, again, u feel ur sound system is screwin up, while its not, the only thing about this track is that i wish it had higher kicks, cus they'r very low, but its fine as it is, though at 90% of running time, the kicks are suddenly high because its track 6 [Diamond Dust (Rabbit in the Moon’s Harry Cane Remix) - DJ 19 vs Austin Leeds ] getting mixed in ! Again, loonnggggg perfect mixing technics, i just love it becasue they merge so perfectly.
i will stop here with the review, because its just like when someone tells u the story of a movie u are going to watch, it burns it!
You gotta get ur hands on this Album, track 10, 11, 12 are a bit trancy! sorry had to mention this cldnt help it
The album has a great ending as well, with Dave Seman's Special Siganture..
Disc 2 is mixed by Luke Chable, its Drum + Bass mixed with Break Beats, if ur not into these styles ull find it anoying, but i personally loved it all the way!
Overall its a very rich album in matters of music viriety, its housy, progressive, trancy and it have some tribal percussions, VERY WELL MIXED.
I give it 8 over 10.
Cheers!
