Björk is to release a double remix album for charity and here’s your chance to get involved.
Every now and again Björk gets the remix treatment. In the past she’s been re-arranged by the likes of Howie B, Todd Terry, David Morales, Lionrock, Fluke, Sasha, Underworld, Sabres Of Paradise…the list goes on.
And that’s just the official dance remixes. There have been hundreds of bootlegs or unofficial remixes, and Björk’s label, One Little Indian, reckon they get just as many rock/metal covers. So, in an attempt to get some of these bootlegs, remixes and covers out to the masses, One Little Indian are releasing them in double CD compilation and all the proceeds will go to charity.
However, they’re a little short and are still looking for more remixes. Are you a producer with a passion for the firey singer from Iceland? Maybe you're in a band and you do an excellent cover. Then we suggest you get on the case – you only have a week. All entries must be submitted by Monday January 17. Submissions must be encoded to 128kbs and posted to bjorkremixes@gmail.com
Good luck!
