Paul Van Dyk - For An Angel (Gil Shwartz 2004 Remix)

Mmmm, the dissapointment here is that a classic trance tune has been tranceformed into a house one.But again considering it under the "house" genre this track isn't bad at all.Slow housy bassline all through the first 2 mins of the track with added nice female vocals giving it a nice vibe.A slight breakdown after that introducing the original "paul van dyk" melody with a twist in it fitting it well with the beats.Nothing much to say,not my peice of cake but house lovers will enjoy this one.

LOL I can't believe it! I just reviewed this baby and was on my way to post it when I saw your review! It even got "0 views" so far so I'm guessing no one noticed it yet :P Well anyway I'm not gonna let my writing go to waste so will all due respect, here it goes :P

Paul van Dyk ~ For An Angel [Gil Shwartz Remix]

This review goes out to AMADEUS. PvD's almighty For An Angel has just received another remix, this time from our Israeli neighbour Gil Shwartz. A more housey beat in this one, with some vocal choirs added later on. No massive breakdown, but after a couple of minutes everything is silenced, and this magical piano keys come in, made much dreamier than the original mix, and a soft bassline running in the background. A bit later on, synth pads are added, and the track kicks off. When the track is underway, you could hear a few "angelic" chorus voices, giving this remix a darker atmosphere. No match to the original mix in my opinion, but would work well in the early moments of a set.
