Vibrasphere - Erosion EP

Another name associated to J00F delivers yet another release. Mainly known for his psychedelic productions, Vibrasphere released a solid progressive house EP with a smart choice of remixes:

102 Miles From Here (Club Live Mix): A dance-floor oriented track, its kick-off will definitely remind you of Max Graham's remix of Swedish Beatballs. A punchy bass-line and surprisingly calm breakdown are what you can save from this release.

Erosion (Analog Tape Mix): Some clear psy influences on this one. Charming vocals and a lovely melody characterize this track. Vibrasphere made a solid impression on this one.

Erosion (Glenn Morrison & Bruce Aisher Remix): The Canadian producer and Bruce Aisher deliver a very decent remix of Erosion. They gave it a trancy aspect without going off the chart with their own personal touch. Very solid work.

[Genesis]

I'm a fan of the former sound of Vibrasphere. Their more recent releases are a bit to Electro for my liking.

Having said that, they still pull up some good tunes every once in a while.
Their latest album, Lungs of Life, had some pretty decent stuff in it notably Analog Marinade and Dewdrops.

When their tunes get remixed, it's always impressive. So, will keep an open eye for this one. Landmark, though, remains my favorite Vibrasphere album.
