Don Diablo ~ Down The Drain

One of the newest House Releases to be find under Boom Box Recordings , produced by one of the young rising stars in House Music , Don Diablo known by the Dutch Dj artist drops a pure Punk Release , including the Audio Support Unit Remix alongside with the Original Mix.

The Original Mix starts with some beautiful up and downs , warming up with smooth beats in addition to the funky vocals which is obviously the cutting element in the Original Mix , yet always preparing for the energetic bassline which comes up after these crispy beats , increasing therefore to reach the funkiest part in the mix , the part including electric guitar riffs : Heard It Well ? Yes ! A wicked bassline , and it all relies on that electric guitar sound - driving the track to a new unique style – and I myself have never found a Good House tune where both Electric Guitars and brisk basslines can be well merged , what a lethal combination !

Now switching to the Remix , Audio Support Unit’s did a pretty nice work as well by remixing the original made by Don , adding even more heavy beats, however never leaving the funky style which Don has already set through the Original Mix .
You can always find energy in both Original and Remix , though I’d really prefer the Original mix over the Remix , although Audio Support Unit’s appealing as well– both Re/mix furnishes us a pretty particular sound- But maybe it’s all because of that electric guitar sound (adding some cutting breaks) found in Don Diablo’s Original Mix . And this is what I call with Extremely Punk!

Hence , a good release which is really nice to listen to –when it comes to Punk House-the young Dutchman Dj Don Diablo is showing us his strange funky way in producing tracks , merging with plenty of Punk Rock with other Housish Elements .
It’s actually the first appealing production (since almost some of them weren’t appealing at all) , but Still don’t know what will come up in the near future .
