2003
About the Artists:
The Phuturistix debut long player has been a long time in the making. With the core production partnership of Zed Bias (godfather of break-step) and Manchester's Injekta, this A-list project is some serious twisted soul music.
Redirecting the garage sound towards a deep, soulful future, it's rhythm music with no limits. Originally conceived in the late '90s, Phuturistix released 2000's 'Matrix EP' and 2001's 'Deep Down EP' on Locked-On.
Now signed to Hospital, the debut album 'Feel it Out' paints a bigger picture, combining the depth of soul and jazz-past with the tuff swing of garage and ruffness of UK urban rhythms. The album features a host of underground British stars including Jenna G, Atjazz, Mr J and Amma.
The crossover appeal is apparent when you take a look at the names who are supporting the album; from break-step soldiers Jay Da Flex and Oris Jay, to house heads like Ashley Beedle, to freestyle legends Gilles Peterson and Mr Scruff.

Album Review:
This Album makes a great introduction to the UK Garage EDM Genre. Fans of Jazz, Soul music will dig this immensly. It is a very soulfull Album that is excellent for chilling out @ some piano bar... or @ home or @ the car..... with that special someone

so many lovey, chilly, cuddley tracks... however, tracks such as Sunshine lover, Stop it, Beautiful, Thelonious Punk, Beat Jerky would be a nice first choice.
