K, i figured since i started bringing some old shit (like John B's in Transit)... it was only logical to share with u this Amazing Album. By the musical Genious producer~~ Muffler!

Artist Preview:

At just 22 years old Muffler is a very talented young producer. Based in Helsinki, Finland he has been producing music since the age of 9, starting back in 1991. He has made a couple of house tunes that have been released in Finland, but in 1994 he discovered jungle/drum 'n bass, and it was love at first hearing. Ever since he has been mostly doing drum 'n bass, but back then he was limited to using only an Amiga 500 and a simple tracker program. Later he got some more equipment and finally could start doing music a bit more seriously.

In 1998, he released a CD for a small label, TRSI Recordz. Though it was mostly drum & bass, his first "decent" drum & bass release was the "Somber"/"Fury" single on the Urban Takeover imprint in 2000. Since then, he's "just been concentrating on making music and DJing.

"Things are starting to happen, more promoters booking me, A-list DJs playing my tunes, labels asking for more tracks, so it's all good," he states. The list includes Grooverider, Fabio, BC, Zinc, Mickey Finn, Aphrodite, to name but a few, yet it doesn't go to Konsta's head; everyday life continues to influences his music the most.


Album Review:

One of the Best Tech-step Albums ever made! in my humble opinion. You can see a wide range of influences especially in the first half of the album of Jazz, Techno, Soul and House. The album starts off melodic, light and emotional, and half way through transforms into a classical dark, lightning paced form of Tech-Step. Quite a few Dancefloor smashers in the album, that rocked the 2003 clubs in the UK and elsewhere, from then and until now. Tracks such as, Transform + Heaven + Blacklines, are fine examples why Tech-step is considered one of the l33test forms of music to DANCE on!

On the other hand, u find also a good selection of Emotional, lighter tracks to GROOVE on such as, Only you can make me feel + Emotive + My love is real.

all in all, well worth the listen, if not the buy for all EDM fans.
