Hey trancehits,
First of i need to appologize to a few friends here for taking too much time registering. So i guess you know who you are
Where to start! Well, I'm an International affairs graduate from LAU, and i "used" to work at the UN until we were asked to evacuate when the July war began. Yeah i know it sucks
But that's not interesting, is it? I have been in Lebanon for the past few years and fell inlove with the country and the women (no offence intended ), and the beautiful women.....i mean weather, yes weather.
As for my djing, i'm into breakbeat. (some of you might be going: "breakwhaaaa??". I don't blame you. Breakbeat isn't so popular around these parts, but it is my obssession. I won't go into detiais but i grew up listening to people like the dust brothers (now knows as chemical brothers), i was about 11 when i first started listening to The Prodigy, and other hard dance bands and producers. I branched out into breakbeat, and i felt right at home. DJing was one part of showing that obssession. It is a very loved hobby of mine and i have djed at a few raves here in the country. Back in England i was known for being infatuated with very aggressive basslines.....hence my AKA, subdog.
My specialties include hard breaks and acid breaks; which are my favorite sub-genres. I'm just a sucker for basslines I am now part of Vibelebanon, founded by my friend Ceasar K., who also plays breaks. YAY
I recently made a new set, which is a tribute to Lebanese. You can find the post under "A tribute to Lebanon and Lebanese". It is progressive breaks and i have put alot of effort and heart into it because of our current situation. I hope you enjoy it. It's called Rise Above.
Now here's the part where i get kicked out because i don't follow trance too much. (SD runs for his life!!!!!)
All the love and respect!!
