DJ-Eros Introduction

Hello To Everyone:

My name is Manuel Benavente and my Artistic Name is DJ-Eros.

I'm from Puerto Rico and I'm 37 years of age.

Currently I being playing and mixing new music since Thanksgiving last year (2004).

I have heard Armin van Buuren since then and I loved his ASOT program show. I love his style and genre he plays. Though I like his genre I play other stuff as well like Techno, Tech Trance, Progressive House and House.

He's being my mentor since last year where I got my DJ equipment. Its being almost 20 years since I played a mix. I started at High School playing at my class parties New Wave and 80's music. Last year a friend of mine introduced me into Trance and the ASOT program. I wasn't paying too much attention to ASOT until Armin van Buuren came to my country and played live. It was the most awesome DJ I has ever seen play live. Since then I got motivated to start my own program show. The only thing was that I had to do it as hobbie in my home. Since then I have accomplished more than 56 mixes of at least 1:20hrs. I have played longer mixes and the longest one will be out soon to everyone called "The Perfect Mix (Summer Mix 2005)". Its around 6 hours long with the best of 2005 in my opinion and some friends that love my mixes.

Now I'm embarking on a new adventure called: "THE PERFECT MIX" or "TPM". This will be a LIVE mixing of the latest and greatests releases all around the World. It will consist of at least one hour, or more, of Progressive Trance, Techno, House, Tech Trance and Euro Trance. On the second hour I will do the same thing but this time on the genre of Progressive House and House mostly.

I will be doing this on every wednesday starting tonight at 8:00PM-Until Done Eastern Standard Time (GMT - 4 hours)

Please feel free to join me on this new trip into the Music.

I will post later that night the track list and the recorded set too, for those who love to hear it again or those who missed it.

I will love to be know as the DJ that bring back together big multitudes of different ethnics and embark them into a TRIP of music, peace and love. This is why I called myself professionaly DJ-Eros.

Nov 2005 :: DJ-Eros started his LIVE Radio Show on EvlutionFM.org
Jan 2006 :: DJ-Eros created his own Radio Station and started Playing LIVE on his own.
