Biography:
I was born on the 04th of august in 1984 in Gdansk/Poland. With four years I moved with my parents to Duesseldorf/Germany and since that I live here. Already in very recent years I discovered my preference to the electronic music within the range House, but after very short time I have noticed that I'm again into the Trance direction, because i liked that type of music more and I also felt more passion and feelings for that kind. E.G. I pursued each Saturday the einslive party service with DJ's like Paul van Dyk, Piet Blank & Jaspa Jones etc. and as the first live transmissions in the TV was, that mix from “Vinyls”made me curiously and I wanted to try it absolutely out,too. 1999 I've, after spending my complete summerholidays while working, I've finally been able to buy a few turntables and a mixer and also my first “Vinyl” which from “Piet Blank & Jaspa Jones - Cream” was. The beginnings, however,were depressing for me very, since I noticed that the whole was nevertheless not so simple, as it appeared to me. Since my neighbour presented also on privately parties and always carried me with him, I could watched some moves and in addition learn. I've also get more more the feeling for present gotten. I'm also been driven to my father into the Disco ,but just to look a few techniques ,for example how to make effects with a mixer. Approx. 1 year ago,i was able to do my first present on a conclusion fats of a High School. from that time on I never leaved from the Turntables. at the time i'm only making mixes “Just For Fun” to collect feedbacks. Now recently i have also a somewhat longer Trance mix made and that has me strive very much and cost work, but that mix is worth it.
Now something about me, Steve Sacramento, Max Hendricks and the formation of "Faces of Trance"
We met recently during an electronic dance music DJ contest which was organized by one of the biggest trance forums in Germany, tranceforum.info. We noticed immediately that we fit together as DJs, although we had been opponents in the contest at that time. No one of us knew (or knows in fact, as the contest is still running, while I am writing this lines) on which rank he will end up in the vote. But nonetheless we decided to start a show on Globalbeats.fm together, which provides the listeners with Trance and its' verious subgenres such as Progressive, Uplifting and Techtrance. After a long brainstorming we chose the name "Faces of Trance". So the question might arise, why we chose that name and the answer is quite simple indeed. As we both have slightly different styles (Steve the more Uplifting-tunes and Max being into Progressive) we want to present the different faces trance-music has and show the variety of this great music. To make the show even more interesting, we decided to ask several well known Djs to join us and have guest-appearances in the show. We already got some answers that sound quite promising.
