It looks amazing yea. I played it on my PS3 and was blown away by how good it looks.

The game though; not really up to scratch. It's not survival horror anymore... it's become yet another action shooter. I mean, you have that woman with you to help you all the time; I've always played my previous Resi games on my own: Resi 1, 2, Nemesis, and even most of the spin offs. They've really went out of their way in this one

Still a great game, but it's not high in my rankings due to the change of direction its taken with this instalment.

the PC version is even better in terms of graphics and playability (mouse support). The survival horror petition is global where many hardcore fans still would've loved to keep the eery creepy mood of the old RE titles (pre RE4). CAPCOM always announced that the titles needed renovation and in order not to just repeat themselves over and over again they had to switch to somehow more action paced games and benefit more with the new technological advances.. how much of this is valid? i think it's up to everyone's own judgment.
one thing to add that this is one of the first games to incorporate NVIDIA's revolutionary 3D VISION that as the reviews say makes this game even better!
one thing is for sure, this title is surely ranking all over the globe! good thing the storyline is still a strong factor!

for more about 3D VISION check this: http://www.nvidia.com/object/3D_Vision_Overview.html
