Oh yes they are, trust me, I have tried them (the earphones) the quality was outstanding (the best quality I ever heard aside from the Bang & Olufsen) and the bass is by far the loudest and so crisp, you literally would open your mouth from the shock if you hear the sound and how good it remains when its super loud.

Have you heard Bose Quiet Comfort 2 headphones? It's around $300-400.. and its superb, esp if you're in the plane. Bass, dynamics, all kikass
