im thinking on installing windows should make virtually all programs work no? else i should pray i can find mac programs in bourj hammoud :lol:

Welcome to the world of MAC

You will never use a smoother and more stable OS then MAC (you got Leopard btw?).

I just upgraded to the latest G5 with dual quad processors and its flipping fast and just incredibly stable, I can edit videos, graphic design, illustrate play music and render 3D all at the same without a single problem.. Oh and all that of course while I am downloading torrents and surfing the net!

And using a MACBOOK in Starcrap makes you look like a Geek while your proud! You would be enjoying it while other PC users spend hours trying to connect to the access point

1st i think some of you guys are mixing up between Mac OS and Mac as a hardware!
needless to point out that although Mac OS is a lot safer and somehow safer, taking a look on what range of software it can cover opposed to windows then it's somehow ridiculous to favour it unless you ONLY work for design/graphics applications. eventhough Mac now accept windows it's still way too early to get things running smoothly..
on the other part not sure if many of you guys know but the future of Mac is through Intel hardware which basically means no more slick edge advantage for Mac as a hardware replacement for PC!
i think in conclusion it all depends on what do we expect from our computers to deliver, for me i can not see myself working on a Mac where most of my usual applications/games dont even work!

^ so if i'm understanding correctly, you're saying that MAC works better on Intel than Microsoft who already got shares in Intel and whom all Intel tests are being done?!
mmmm.. sounds awkward dont you think?!
and pls need i repeat myself regarding the few applications compatible with MAC and .. well.. ALL the rest for PC? for a system that runs almost 20% of what the market has to offer, with hardware being manufactured by only 1 company.. it's the least to be more stable!
