Its not gonna be out in the ME for another year.
and people outside US cannot order it and use it, its programed for Cingular Lines only for the moment.

One neg point i discovered about it. is that it is not a G3 phone.

their OS (starting the Tiger) is the best OS in the world and most stable.
Unlike Windows it never crashes EVER, it has an amaizing Memory management system, which makes u NEVER run out of memory.

Hardware issues, all the mac products are very well finished
Performance, Apple are the best machines for Design and Hardcore-multi tasking use.
Have you ever heard a MAC user complain about their machines? be it hardware or software, it rareeeeely happen and BELEIVE ME, if something is wrong with the machine, its the users malfunction.

Have you ever heard a PC/windows complaign about their machines? ALLL THE TIME hehe, u probably do so.

Noisy fans, runtime errors, kernel crashes, lazy startups, DING cant do that, DONG cant do this DING restart DONG update everyday...

I am a Mac user since 4 years and PC user since i had my hands on a keyboard, for me, MAC remains the ultimate machine for best performance, use and design. you tell me PC is selling more worldwide then Mac? true, but what does that prove? Sukuzi and hundai is selling more then BMW.... so? its just cheaper.

Wow System.S!! Out of all the people, you come with the SAME excuse everyone does huh? Guys, go read up before you even post any arguments about Apple's Mac. The reason Mac OSs are stable is due to "emptiness" in it. Windows on the other hand has tons of programs and software on it, which causes the system to crash. I'm not saying this isn't a negative point about Windows, but think about it for a second... If Mac had many software for it (which it doesn't), it would go through the same thing. Apples are also expensive, and when the time comes to upgrade, what do you do? YOU GET A NEW ONE!!!
On top of all that, the staff and crew on Mac are pretty dumb. They had a conference a couple of months ago talking about the new feature called Time Machine or something. Useful and all. But then they went on and compared their new Mac OS with Windows Vista BETA OS! BBEEETTTAAAAAAAAAA GUYSS!!!!

They're comparing an OS that's not EVEN out yet with a TEST version of a new OS! Macintosh has hardly any software, or games on it, which makes it almost compeletly errorless! Need I say more?
About the hardware, well you're right, cuz people don't really take good care of their machines Unlike Mac, which is so stable cuz of the void inside of it
Macintosh was made for designers and architects...etc. But other than that, the OS is somewhat of an electronic piece of crap put together that attracts people with its looks. Atleast Microsoft keeps trying to improve their system. You heard about the new features of Vista? Bet you didn't. Go read up! Meanwhile, Apple's crew are sitting there like 3 year olds complaining about a test version of an OS. *Error comes up on Vista system* "OOOOH LOOK!! LOOK!! SEE?!? I TOLD U!!! THERE'S AN ERROR IN VISTA BETA!!" I bet they thought Vista Beta was the final release of the OS lmao!
I don't want everyone to get me wrong or anything cuz I've used a Mac before and it's good to never worry about errors, but I just can't stand the fact that I have to wait for more than 1000000 software companies to develop software for Mac when it's been out already on Windows for more than 2 years. I'm sorry but Mac have their issues (and so do Windows too ) but I'd rather go for Windows. Mac doesn't offer me 10% of what Windows does.
P.S: When I saw the iPhone's preview that day, and it's features, I was like " *sigh* it's about time ppl =/ "
Steve Jobs and his crew have ALOT of potential to kick Microsoft's ass! Yes I said it! But they still can't get over the fact that Gates stole their GUI in the first place.

The blogosphere had been buzzing for months with rumors of some sort of iPod-cell phone combination, and legions of enthusiasts had posted their own imaginative designs online.

But major details were scarce to nonexistent, and even the most plugged-in bloggers and rumor-mill scavengers said they were taken aback by some of the innovations revealed during Tuesday's launch at the annual Macworld Conference and Expo. The touch-screen phone plays and downloads music, surfs the Web and delivers voicemail and e-mail.

"Some of the products people were dreaming up were just insane," said Jeff Gamet, an editor with The Mac Observer online news site. "But once we actually saw the product Apple dropped on us, it was as good if not better than anything we expected."

Even the iPhone's name had surfaced months ago, but most figured it was inaccurate speculation after it was reported that Cisco Systems Inc. held a trademark on the name. But Apple kept it, to everyone's surprise — and was rewarded with a lawsuit filed Wednesday by Cisco. (haha )

Cupertino-based Apple has both a rabid fan base interested in its future product plans and a legendary obsession with secrecy. It closely guards the content of Jobs' keynote addresses and has sued bloggers, online journalists and former employees for disclosing confidential new-product details.

Former Apple employees say the company plants fake product names within workgroups to track the source of media leaks. It monitors workers' Internet surfing habits and scolds them if they're visiting too many Apple rumor Web sites during office hours. (gr8 but untrustworthy policy with employees :\)

Apple spokeswoman Natalie Kerris declined to comment Wednesday.

Even some of Apple's partners on the iPhone — AT&T Inc.'s Cingular Wireless, Google Inc. and Yahoo Inc. (Nasdaq:YHOO - news) — didn't see the actual device until weeks or even hours before Jobs' dramatic keynote unveiling.

Apple's focus on secrecy has been remarkably effective in plugging leaks from within the corporate ranks just enough to generate massive amounts of buzz prior to big product launches.

But some industry observers say Apple could face new threats to its fortress-like secrecy as it increasingly partners with other companies in its bid to become a full-fledged consumer electronics company.

"They keep acquiring more and more partners, and as they do that their ability to keep a cone of silence around the company is becoming more difficult," said Roger Kay, president of Endpoint Technologies Associates Inc.

"They love the secrecy because they get a big bang out of it. But that's going to erode slowly because their partner ecosystem keeps getting bigger all the time," he said.

LOL! System.S I enjoyed reading your post. But bro, enta you're talking about heavy duty and people who want to WORK... I'm addressing people who use the Mac just like anyone else and not work related. I mentioned earlier, only reason I'd go for a Mac OS is if I were a designer/architect. Music production can be done also on Windows with minimal errors. I really don't care about that kind of stuff though.... A consumer who gets to choose between Mac and Windows isn't likely to go for heavy duty work such as design,music production...etc. Ba3dein check out DJ Tracid's post. The iPhone's facing a lawsuit and it's not even out yet!!!!! Shows how dumb the people at Apple are.
Look bro, it's just that you enjoy using a Mac and that I love my Windows PC. I find that Windows OS offers me more shit than Macs. On the other hand you find that Macs suit you best especially that you're a designer right?
And for the third time, I won't judge the iPhone till I use it Who knows Apple might actually go for a breakthrough this time

Oh and Genesis, don't go for the PS3 bro... Atleast not any time soon. The system is loaded with errors and it's just waaaay too expensive. Go to youtube and check out it's errors. Just type "PS3 errors" in the search field. A friend of mine bought it and hasn't been doing anything but complaining about it =/
I'd rather wait or go for a Wii (if you're a Nintendo fan) or an Xbox360.
