Firstly, it looks fucking classy!
Secondly, you can hook it up to your Xbox 360!!
Thirdly, the display of the zune is 3.2 inches, while the ipod's is 2.5!!! Therefore, better video display!
Forthly, the Zune's radio feature kicks ass! It shows you the ID tag of the current playing song. Can the ipod do that? I think not!
Fifthly, with the radio turned on, and a song appeals to you, you can BUY the track immediately by connecting the Zune network.
Sixthly, it has WIFI.
Seventhly, using WIFI, you can connect to the Zune network and search and buy music.
Eight-thly, you can use the Zune's very own "Social" feature to share music with your friends through WIFI.
Ninethly, you can get a Zune pass for a certain amount (not too expensive. $15 a month I think) and you get access to ALL music on the Zune marketplace with instant download ANYTIME!
Tenthly, it has a much better interface which is much better than the ipod's page-by-page UI that hasn't changed since like... forever?
Eleventhly, the headphones are so much better!! They also have magnets at their rear-ends that hold them together. Better sound quality!! Fit nicely into your ears, with 3 extra fitting rubbers.

Does the ipod have ALL these extra features?
And look at their prices! They are almost the same!!
SO basically you are paying the same price for let's say 80GB storage in both devices, except that you get many more features in your Zune!
In fact, if you have read the news, the 80GB Zune will be discontinued, and a 120GB version will replace it... WITH THE SAME PRICE!
