Above and Beyond are celebratig their 200th episode (after 4years) by closing the chapter on the 100's and opening the door on the 200's by

This is the trance that I like ... Above & Beyond never dissapoints me !!

This Episode is by far better that ASoT's Yearmix !!

In my opinion you cnt really compare both radio shows, ASOT has more "loyal" listners then TATW, making the votes more diversifyed. This set is absolutly amazing and trust me Ronaldo do download it because im pretty sure you will enjoy it!!

The main diffrence between these two are the fact that this tracklist is shorter by around 10songs, making it better to play more of a song (lenght wise i mean), in ASOT yearmix the time of each song was very short here you have a good span of the song to enjoy it to some extent.

When it comes to the mixing skills, its another story Above and Beyond have their own thing going on and A.V.B has his own thing going on... And they both never seem to dissapoint me, i would watch them both live over and over and over again!!!

If we wanna sit and compare, the list can go on and on depending on how much you want to pay attention to small details.

In my opinion, both sets are amazing and any trancehead should have them FOR LIFE. Above all that, anyone who has these two sets should do what i did:
Put both sets in your playlist minimize and enjoy! Because these two sets, complete each other in so many ways, making it 4hours of pure trance, peace of mind, and that nice warm tingly feeling inside you that only Trance music can let you experince!!!

STUNNING EPISODE!!!

amazing episode better than the asot yearmix

I preferred ASOT's yearmix... as a mix, I liked it more.AvB chose just the right part of every track to put on, and the way the tracks were mixed was simply awesome.

It's because its TATW Best OF. Not only from 2007, its BEST OF all the 199 episodes...
Still a very sweet episode!

While it seems as if many people have issue with the Madonna and Spears tracks, the one I have the most problems with is the Sufjan Stevens track. I thought it was HORRIBLE. The Madonna track was on Anjunabeats Compilation Vol 1, and I actually don't mind it.

Another track I have problems with is Songless. I've tried hard to like Songless, but I just can't. Ever since they've started playing it on TATW, I have not liked it. It just comes across as painfully cheesy to me.

For me, the best Above and Beyond mix is still unquestionably their first Essential Mix on BBC Radio One that won mix of the year. That was the mix that convinced me of the greatness of Above and Beyond and to my mind, they have never quite managed to reach the same heights, although they have come close sometimes.
