To start with, I'm sorry for featuring a tune from not a very distant past but Solarcoaster is a classic of timeless origin. This is a tune that would defy the definition of time and redefine the concept of trance of its time. Not uplifting, tech, psy, or even progressive - this is simply Solarstone. A blend of beautiful sunset-esque melodies finishing of your day in perfect fashion, dreamy vocals, and simple structure that never fails to engrave itself in Trance's hall of fame. This tune has lived in many players for so long (proudly, including mine). The deepness and sophistication of this tune is even a lesson to learn for today's producers- this is how it's done.
Solarcoast was written and produced by Solarstone (Rich Mowatt, Sam Tierney & Andy Bury), the legendary trio from the UK in 2002. It was released in 2003 on Lost Language Recordings initially on CDR, then on vinyl, and then 3 more times on vinyl featuring all the remixes. It's been played in virtually every club on the planet! It's been also included in so many compilations than I can remember including Tiesto's ISOS3 (which played a role in further popularizing the tune). And if I'm not mistaken, this tune is Samer's all-time favorite.

This tune brings back so many memories... it takes me back YEARS in just a minute. As soon as the melody kicks in, it has a time-machine effect! Brilliantly done!!!
