[align=justify]Another week, another interview.. This time it's with the anticipated duo who will soon be performing at La Marina Dbayeh. Something that will surely build up more the excitment of this long awaited event!!

Allow us first to extend our happiness & excitement to be able to party with you soon in Lebanon. All Trancehits.com members along with many other Lebanese clubbers are thrilled with this news and cant wait to meet you.
Q1-August 4 will mark Gabriel & Dresden's 1st gig in Lebanon, what are your thoughts, feelings, and expectations?
- We have no expectations. Our minds are open and we are still amazed that the music we make takes us to every corner of the world. Even more surprising is that no matter where we go people seem to know all the words to our songs. We'll see if that's the case here...
Q2- Gabriel & Dresden are famous for producing progressive sounds both house and trance, can we expect going beyond the usual style & maybe try producing different subgenres?
- We don't really see it like that. We are just inspired by what we hear and produce music that makes us feel good. We think catagorizing music into sub-genres only serves to further close peoples minds to certain styles and that is not a good thing. Lately we have been inspired by what others are calling "minimal"
Q3- Your side projects like andain and motorcycle took the world by storm, when can we expect new productions under these projects?
- Well, we have decided to focus on gabriel & dresden, so don't expect any new music from motorcyle or andain any time soon...
will there be any other new projects in the future?
- We woud love to put a band together and tour live. We are still working out what that might be like. We are really looking forward to getting back into the studio.
Q4- Many do wonder how you guys produce your music, does one of you usually start producing and then the other continue the work or both of you work together on your productions at the same time.
- Josh is the comupter, musician, engineer. And dave is the dj and hook man. We work together at the same time. We each have different strenghts and we rely on them.
Q5- Its been long since any of you produced on his own, will we witness any individual releases from any of you in the near future?
- We have conentrated this year on making the gabriel & dresden album. Who knows, maybe we will have time for more solo work.
Q6- Zocalo was the result of your collaboration with Armin, a track that became a huge success in Lebanon as well as around the globe, whats the story about it? How did you guys ended up collaborating with Armin and did you ever expect it to get that big?!
- Armin approached us to see if we would be interested in co-writing and producing a track on his artist album. We thought it sounded like a good idea. He came out to san francisco and worked with us in our studio for a few days. Josh played the bass/guitar parts on an old 80s fender bass and we worked together on the rest. When we left the studio we were all happy with how it turned out. Of course we are even happier knowing that everyone else liked it as much as we did.
Q7- Armin has been playing many tracks from your upcoming artist album, what more can you tell us about this album?
- Well you can listen for yourself. Just go to gabrielanddresden.com and the whole album is there to listen to. Took us a year to make and features the volcals of molly bancroft and jan burton.
Q8- Among DJs and Producers who are currently Gabriel & Dresdens close friends? and who do you like to be working with in the future?
- if we had the time we would be working with james holden. We are constantly amazed by his production.
