Believe it or not, it's been two years since Deep Dish last played in London. To make up for lost time, they're hitting Ministry of Sound with a mammoth album launch.
It's hard to believe that Deep Dish haven't played in Britain's clubbing capitol for two years. In that time they've had huge commercial success with 'Flashdance', they've wowed crowds all over the globe, penned a new album and are about to have yet more success with their latest club smash 'Say Hello'. They are indeed busier than a litter picker at Glastonbury Festival.
Litter picking aside, Deep Dish are back in London on Saturday July 9 hosting a massive launch party for their new album 'George Is On'. The release date for this interestingly titled album is towards the end of August, but we've managed to shove our ears on an advanced copy here at iDJ Mansions, and it's oozing the rock-a-licious dance vibes that Deep Dish are synonymous with these days. Get down to Ministry next Saturday, and you'll be able to hear this new material for yourself… you won't be disappointed!
Joining the Dish at Ministry is the hottly tipped high riser Behrouz, Ministry resident Marc Huges and DTPM dude Guy Williams. Mark our words, this is one hot bed of house music that is not to be missed!
Fancy a piece of the action? We've got two pairs of VIP tickets for this event of epic proportions, all you've got to do is answer this simple teaser…
Deep Dish have recently mashed Flashdance up with an 80's rock anthem in a bootleg stylee. Name that anthem…
• ZZ Top – 'Sharp Dressed Man'
• Status Quo – 'You're In The Army Now'
• Dire Straits – 'Money For Nothing'
• Guns N Roses – 'Welcome To The Jungle'
Send your answers to guestlist@i-dj.co.uk with your name and number by July 7 and you could be VIPing it up with Deep Dish at one of London's biggest clubs next Saturday. (You must be over 18 to apply).
