The Balkan’s most notorious four day fessie has been given the go ahead for another year of highly eclectic Eastern Europe entertaiment:

Situated in the gothic surroundings of the Petrovaradin Fortress in Novi Sad, the Federal Rebublic of Serbia and Montenegro, the Exit Festival has generated quite a name for itself over the past few years. The ethos of the festival has always been to celebrate freedom, change, peace and love, while the music on offer in the 18 performance arenas will range from reggae to rave. Try to imagine Glastonbury in a Roman Castle high above the river Danube…sans scallies!

The festival will take place from July7-10 and ticket and travel information will be released on April 5 on the Exit Festival website. As for the line-up details you’ll have to wait until next month when they release the official bill, but so far we’ve heard that Underworld, Fatboy Slim, Dave Clarke and Sasha will all be performing.
