What a night! The club is really nice: its location is kinda isolated, the design is very suitable for electronic music; the DJ booth is right above the dancefloor... the only problem is that the speakers need a bit of tweaking, but that's no major issue... AMADEUS started off with some Progressive Breaks to get us all in the mood. After that he smoothly shifter to Progressive Trance, and people started shaking in their seats. When the really irresistable Progressive tracks were played (Largo, Mongoose...), no one was able to sit any longer, and the night began.
AMADEUS was relentless: after teasing us with some quality Progressive, it was time for Uplifting & Tech-Trance. This is where the crowd really went mad! Everyone raving, screaming, jumping... The atmosphere was simply amazing. As I said, he was relentless: tune after tune, selecting only the best of what Trance gave us, and we were loving it! We were so indulged in the music and the atmosphere that we lost track of time. Suddenly I look behind me and I see the manager closing down the main door; why? Because the club got packed! That put a smile on my face. I looked at my watch and it was 3:30 - 3:30AM and no one was even thinking about leaving! All in all, AMADEUS played a 5 hour set (from 11:30 to 4:30) of nothing but pure Trance. From Progressive to Uplifting to Melodic, he hammered those tunes and made the crowd go wild - they simply loved him!
It's about time that Lebanon featured a club that hosts a weekly Trance night, and we sure hope that what we experienced last night will indeed become a weekly event.
