Rompastomp: The 2nd Birthday with Defective Audio & Garbo

With humble beginnings at a small, run down venue on the edge of Nottingham's city centre, Rompastomp was determined to get trance and hard dance onto Nottingham's lacking club scene, and keep it there. Two years on and Rompastomp has grown to become one of the most popular independent club nights around, attracting hundreds of clubbers to each and every event.
To celebrate our 2nd birthday, we are pulling out all the stops and will be throwing our best party to date at one of the best clubs in town - The Market Bar. Despite it's somewhat misleading name, The Market Bar is not a bar, it's a club, and a damn fine one too. With a capacity just short of 400, sizeable dancefloor, Funktion One Soundsystem, raised DJ booth and ample seating, it has earned it's titles as Best Club, Best Night, and Best Bar Team at the 2009 Nottingham Bar Awards.
Headlining the event we have Dom Sweeten aka Defective Audio aka Base Graffiti aka a thousand other leading production pseudonyms, and Garbo, the man who made Storm what it is today. Joining them on the decks we have residents Joe Napier and Swany B, as well as guest sets from Jamie Harrison (Off The Rails), Kaned & Able (aka Lewis Lloyd and Juggy), and an ear bleeding acid techno set from Tinitus, one of the most in demand DJs on the free party scene.
