Organisation: Perfect..had absolutely no probs getting into the Parking lot..checking points.. Security was all over the place.. everything was on clock-work..
SetUp: Cool DJ Booth.. tho the whole SuperHero Theme was kindov Boring.. Lights and Laser Tags were wicked very well handled.
Arrived At around 12:10.. didn't get the chance to check out Ronin&Nesta's Set..
At that time.. maDJam was on the decks and giving us a treat.. progressing the beats..getting everyone on their feet.. warmin up for the Main Guy..
Track Selection was good..
At around 1:30 Carl Cox Came On..and so hard he did.. started with a 30min of banging Techno.. making the crowd go crazy.
After that he started with a diversity of elements mixing them up with his tracks.. making the set more and more enjoyable.
an hour from the start or so..he droped (yeah believe it) : B.E.P - Boom Boom Boom
.. mashing it up with a banging electro track.. and the crowd loooved it.. i found it a bit odd but Cox has his own style and he sure know how to set the mood.. i ended up loving the way he was playing it and couldn't stop myself from dancing..
Next couple of hours were great.. Went From Tech-House to Techno Dropping some vocals here and there and an other B.E.P Acapella too..
At that time no one really cared where the Tracks are coming from..as long as they're making everyone move like crazy.
Closing well.. it's Gunther&Stamina so you know what to expect.. Mass Destruction nothing less..tho i'd prefer for once that the closing would match the summer breezes and the beautiful sunrise..
Got to say the place was a bit tight..MixFm should hv used all that outdoor space they had available.. and the bar took a looot of space in the middle..
Sound was good.. you could enjoy it clearly all across the place.. but the Bass was too Loud Upfront..
To Sum Up..it was a Great Night..Had Lots of Fun.. Cox was nothing i expected..i got to say i expected a bit more of the guy after everything i heard of the 2006 gig.. again he has his own style.. and he's really good at it..
