Armada Music is proud to announce that AVA Recordings, the successful music label of UK Producer/DJ Andy Moor is now part of the Armada Music family.
Andy Moor recently got voted number 18 in the DJ Mag Top 100 and is renowned for tracks like ‘Halcyon’, ‘Air For Life’, ‘YearZero’ and much favoured for his work under aliases Leama & Moor, Tilt and Whiteroom. After winning several awards over the years and receiving a Grammy nomination for his remix on ‘Delerium - Angelicus’, along with numerous other accolades, Andy Moor has grown out to be part of today’s DJ elite. But above all, Andy is passionate to find classy electronic dance music of the highest quality, that shapes new sounds and reinvents boundaries. AVA Recordings will surely feel right at home at Armada. And so will Andy. Andy:” I have always been extremely impressed with the professional manner in which everybody at Armada conducts their business. AVA recordings has a certain music policy that I feel fits under the Armada umbrella and I feel that now is the right time to join forces. I am expecting this alliance to provide a better service to the music industry, allowing the label to grow more rapidly and therefore increasing the amount of quality music available.”
AVA Recordings started in early 2006 and has released several top quality tracks from producers like Joonas Hahmo, David West, Orkidea, Steve May, Damien Heck and of course, Andy Moor himself. Andy: “We will keep the same music policy, releasing quality melodic electronic dance music. We enjoy supporting new artists and working closely with them to develop and nurture their talent combined with releasing music from well known artists. Following on from this year’s ’Metaverse’ album by Orkidea, 2009 will see the release of more artist albums, including my solo album, along with compilations and much more. The next release scheduled will be ‘Tritonal - What I Say’ followed by ‘Ashley Wallbridge - Masquerade’. On AVA Blue the next release is by Niklas Harding. We will be continuing on the path it has already started to create.”
Both Armada Music and AVA Recordings are looking forward to work together and have high expectations for the future of this label!

Why do you think those 2 labels joined forces? Is it because the music policies are similar or is there a bigger reason behind this?
