We were surfing the net and had a little chat wiith Airwave about the coming months. Cool stuff is coming up we might say. So let's list the stuff that's about to happen.
First there will be the release of the Airwave single Punjabi Child, taken from his last album. This will have also remixes from Arto Kumanto, Eddie Sender and Ville Lope. We sniffed around the promopool and were particularly impressed by Arto Kumanto's interpretation. You can expect those mixes in the digital shops soon.
Also Laurent did alot of remixes, for these tunes recently:
Andy Tau - North (featured in our review section)
Ferry Tayle - Revenge
Arto Kumanto - Focus and Gaze (to be released)
Alex Coollock - Define Real (to be released)
Also a remix of the Belgian popband Colin Replay is currently heard in Airwave's set. The track is called Till The End. Colin Replay will also feature on the new Velvet Girl release, which is in the making..
More stuff? Yes a new Fire & Ice track called Sayonara and also a new DJ Fire single named Transatlantic. Besides that also a Planisphere EP is in the works. Even more stuff? Yes, Airwave teamed up with none other than John 00 Flemming, which sounds like an incredibly cool combo. Furthermore we can expect also a new Antidote single...
End of this year Bonzai will release a massive Airwave compilation called Quadri, with more than 100 Airwave tracks (more then 1600 minutes) and also two exclusive 2008 reworks of old Airwave tracks.. I Want To Believe seems like one of them..
Despite that, Airwave has also made some secret monikers to release his housier records, but he won't reveal them.. so it's a new game called spot the Airwave record.
