I was just e-mailed by Fred Baker & Greg Nash who asked me to pass on a message to all their fans in Lebanon.
Most of you around here have been to their gig at Forum De Beirut where they ripped it and tore the roof! The opening set wasn't too shabby either...
Anywho, Fred & Greg asked me to seek your support for their DJ Mag Top 100 campaign, which is the least I could do for such two talented DJs and two great people!
So it is my moral duty to ask you all to vote for Fred Baker and for Greg Nash in this year's top 100 chart of DJ Mag. I for one am most certainly voting for them, as I decided to support smaller names this year instead of the big names, since the big jocks (Armin, Paul, Ferry, etc...) don't really need a chart position to get gigs, promote their sound, and actually make a decent living out of their music; they have enough tenure to ensure full bookings throughout the year and massive sales figures, and already have so many people voting for them that a single vote doesn't make much difference. As for the smaller names, every vote of ours can make a difference, and together we can give these hard working artists a push upwards! I hope you do the same as I am doing, but of course the choice is entirely yours.
