VERY tough choice but after careful consideration my results r as follows:

i couldnt vote for above and beyond cos i didnt see them spin yesterday.cudnt make it.but i can foretell that they were amazing.right?

Above & Beyond (Awesome producers,gr8 djs)
Ronski Speed (love his style,trance like i want)
Armin Van Buuren (Lord of ASOT,best playlist ever,lacks production )
Paul Van Dyk (Was a PvD fan,he must gain some respect from me )

1 tiesto(just be-TIC-)
2-AVB(76 and a state of trance)
3-marc norman( i love all their releases)
4-cor fijneman(also his realeases with great vocals)
5-marcus schultz(coldharbour session 2004 is a great compilation)

oh sorry i didnt mention Y after each choice (which we all should do)


#1 = AvB:
* ASOT is IMO the best Trance show ATM.
* I haven't been to any AvB gig, but I always check out his playlist and IMO they're the best out there.
* AvB has been among my favorite producers for years, and it's true that this year he hasn't produced much, but I'm sure there is a very valid reason for that (maybe very busy with ASOT & his newly established label Armada... that alone is time-consuming!). Some artists like to take a break from time to time, sometimes to add some changes to their style, and I'm sure this is AvB's intention, because a producer of that calibre doesn't just stop producing out of the blue.

#2 = Above & Beyond:
* IMO they have been the best producers this year. They have always been impressive, but this year was truly revolutionary for them (Satellite & No One On Earth to name a few).
* Their show TATW is IMO the second best show out there, with incredible tracklists, great musical taste, and amazing pre-releases.
* As DJs, well I just experienced them last night (review coming soon) and I gotta say I was very impressed: track selection, mixing skills, crowd interaction... the whole package. Two thumbs up.

#3 = Scott Bond:
Top notch productions, incredible playlists, and a residency in Gatecrasher! Need I say more?

#4 = Ferry Corsten:
Ferry is one of the pioneers of Trance - I dare anyone to say otherwise. It is true that his style has become somewhat electro-inclined lately, but whenever he wants to produce or spin Trance he still does like a superstar (his remix of All I Want?). Despite his age, this man has still got so much to offer to the scene, and deserves my vote.

#5 = Tiesto:
Despite of all the various criticism that Tiesto has been receiving, IMO the man still delivers. The reaon why he's not on the top my list is because he not loyal to Trance, both in productions and in tracklistings. My top 3 are certified trancers, Ferry as well in addition to his electro touch, but Tiesto is just out there to produce good dance music, regardless of the genre. It is something I disrespect, but I would certainly prefer attending to AvB or A&B rather than Tiesto - but that doesn't mean I wouldn't enjoy his set! Just not 100%, because it's not 100% Trance.
