"The Top 100 DJs vote 2004 is approaching fast and you will be able to vote for your favourite DJs right here on DJmag.com from Friday 20th August. But before all that, why not join us at AKA, in West Central St, London, WC1, on Thursday 19th August (the night before voting begins) for the official Top 100 DJs 2004 Launch Party...

Tunes will be rocking from 8pm - 3am courtesy of Mylo, Kenny Hawkes, Hybrid, Andy C plus more to be confirmed soon. It's going to get really busy, so get down before 10pm for completely free entry!

Will Tiesto from Holland be the first ever DJ in the world to be crowned No.1 three years running? Or will fellow dutchman Armin Van Buuren steal the limelight? Will the top spot return to former UK winners Sasha, Carl Cox, or Digweed? Only you can decide. Get voting from 20th August. Results will be announced at a massive party to be held on 28th October."

Thank you Bassel for that inside information. I would like to add a little request here as to make this topic more interesting. Naturally most of you will ve voting, so why don't you place who you're going to be voting for and why here for others to know!

I'll start with myself - I'm going for Armin van Buuren. ASOT is my favorite Trance radio show out there, and AvB's sets are in my opinion one of the best, both in tracklistings and DJ skills. It is true that he didn't release many productions or remixes this year, but eventually this is a vote for the best DJ and not producer. AvB all the way!

Its not really inside info.. just found it on DJ mag.. anyways, glad u turned this thread into that direction :)

I'd have to agree with Dionysos on this one. Never heard AVB live, but i've got a whole bunch of his and sets of other famous DJs... but damn, his are totally MIND BLOWING... plus, im always download ASOT and listening to his choice of tracks.. i actually save myself from hunting for good music, 'the newest tunes selected' makes it much easier for me :P . Not only is his technique perfect, his track selection is great! totally my style of trance...
