[align=justify]Because TranceHits.com is not just about releases and events, but about the scene as a whole, such an original shop merits a proper review.
Founded and owned by our very own member DJ Cardiac, whom you might recall as the man who brought us Fred Baker and Snake Sedrick to B018, Per-Vurt is a music shop like no local other.
Located in the busy city centre near LAU, a strategic spot for LAU and AUB students among others, Per-Vurt first strikes you with its flashy pink color radiating onto the street, even in daylight! A futuristic-looking banner draws your eyes upwards, with the shop logo and a list depicting what Per-Vurt offers.
You walk in, and it's CDs to your left and right... perhaps you as THers will mostly be interested in those to your right, with a fine selection of the latest and greatest in EDM, from known names such as Armin van Buuren's "10 Years" or his latest ASOT episodes, to lesser known names (to the public) such as sets by Sander van Doorn, Ron van den Beuken, etc... Same goes for House, from Nick Warren and John Digweed to Tarkan and V-Sag and Dominic Plaza and Nikola Gala, etc... And of course there's the usual commercial stuff, ranging from arabic to english.
You walk in a bit deeper in the shop, while your sight feasts upon the hip, modern, catchy interior design, and you are faced with some serious production hardware, MIDI controllers and whatnot. Also available is a wide selection of different-looking CD cases, and even glowsticks!
But there's an even deeper level to the shop: the underground. You walk down the stairs, with vinyl records pinned against the wall, to reach the DJ booth. A cozy room, with again some cool interior design, comfortable couches, the DJ gear hanging down from the ceiling (a pair of Pioneer CDJ800s and their soul mate DJM600) and some serious-sounding Bose monitors. A laptop is there, ready for instant recording, so I guess I'll be spending some time there from now on...

Per-Vurt has got it all: great music, be it commercial or underground, useful DJ/clubber tools, the best DJ booth I have seen in any shop out there, and a DJ school for those interested in learning (or even mastering) the record-spinning craft! Students are already flowing in with Cardiac himself tutoring them, so what more could you really ask for in a music shop?
Highly recommended by myself for all "DJs, clubbers, and music lovers" as the slogan states. And on a subjective note, congrats to my very good friend Mohammad for this brilliant idea turned into even more brilliant realization!
Virgin: eat your heart out!
