TRANCED, one can't directly call someone subjective if they criticize of praise the event. It happens to be this person's opinion. Yet what's happening here is that one is being labeled according to his views.

I don't think ANYONE here could've gotten away with criticizing PvD without being treated as an enemy of MixFM, no matter how much he was being "objective". God help him if he actually said anything against MixFM itself!

And another point: If the damming criticism of PvD in this thread was absurd, then so is the sycophantic praise he's received also in this thread. Amadeus was praising his latest productions, "Home" and "We Are One". No disrespect or anything, but if it wasn't for the remixes that other artists made of these two tracks, then these releases would certainly be the crappiest things you've ever heard.

But the thing is, it is only those who criticized him that were treated as subjective people, while those praising him weren't. (And may I point out that most of those who did praise him were in fact concerned by the event, and as such would leave little doubt as to whether they were being subjective or not).

And it is only those who criticized him that were abused and that disrespectfully dismissed. No one told Amadeus to go get a life when he praised the two cheesiest tracks to ever come out.

Sure, I like you wish everyone would be objective in his evaluation of the event. I just wish for once I get a decent trance event review on this forum. But we cannot punish or repress someone if we have some suspicions about which side they're on. And we can't disrespect someone if they seem suspicious.

It seems to me that one side got away with it, while the others were directly guilty.

Well Fawzi it's not as simple as you say; if you still can't read between the lines (and it's not that difficult) then I'll clarify it for you once & for all. It doesn't take a lot to realize that the person who is attacking PVD & praising DJ's that have nothing to do with this event like Cosmic Gate in THIS thread, just few days b4 pvd's gig & few weeks b4 Cosmic Gate's event is someone intentionally trying to cause harm to PVD's event =Mixfm, and building up desperately a publicity in an unethical way for C.G's event = Johnny & Swift! An issue that I have the right to stand up for, defend and clarify knowing that it has been going on and on....and on!
I didn't see anyone going to C.G's thread, bashing them, trying to harm the whole event and praising PVD! That's not our aim, and style and we don't have a NEED for such cheap things!

+ if you can't realize till now who is the person behind Swift's fake name, read Johnny's last post and you'll understand it well; and then you'll be the one probably telling him "go get a life".
and in case you knew that fact when you wrote your last post, then allow me to tell you that you are part of the "swift" game!

I hope you'll be able to see things clearly how they are now!

lol, I'm not part of any game, I didn't attend PvD, won't be attending the next event, and I haven't turned on a radio for the last 6 months :p

And I'm also not trying to defend anyone.

BUT, you can't tell me that anyone who is bashing PvD and praising the others is simply a competitor of MixFM looking to smear its name! For example, if I had done the same, you would've profiled me as one of those people who play this game, although I've got no connections what so ever with either organizers! Be it Swift, Johnny or Johnny's evil twin, anyone on this forum has the right to criticize whoever they want in a respectful manner (which is the way, I thought, it was going until the all-out war took place).

I do respect your efforts to promote the event you're concerned with, and its the same for others. But I don't respect how someone can get disrespected for giving his opinion on this forum. And it seems that anyone who does so in these cases is assumed to be on one side and criticized by the opposite one.

People on this forum should be free to criticize and praise whoever they want on this forum (in a respectful manner) without having their allegiance questioned and their opinions derided as a publicity stunt.

Anyway, I've said enough on this thread. I don't want to spend too much time talking or else I would be profiled as biased to one side

Fawzi, what I meant by objectivity was not letting factors other than your taste and opinion do the talking! And in many times, those factors do compel people to say things they really don't believe in. I am sure many in here DO LOVE PVD, yet still bash him.

Anyway, if you do take time to read more than the last few posts, you'll see that we never removed any of the individual's opinions. And they are quite a few. And would never do such a thing. EVER.

All this crap about being biased to Mixfm is just what it is. Pure Crap.
And i will not take it anymore. Many in here do know where I stand in terms of events organizations. It is actually the silliest thing being accused of taking Mixfm's side! But being a moderator on TH, i am forced to respect all opinions, tastes, organizers, and DJs. I don't believe in the existence of opposing sides to begin with.

I really don't GET what you are even basing your judgement on.
Do you really think you've read all the posts that i've decided to delete? How would you know what's been deleted and from which side it was if you can't READ IT????

People just want to argue for the sake of arguing.
To look cool, and to sound smart. or for many other hidden motives.
Yet it fails miserably.

Unlike many, however, I say what i say and do what I do not to get the gratification of any, nor to avoid the grudge of others.

But this is not a place for sound discussions, nor proper use of language or respectful display of opinion. And when we try to make it this way, we get attacked ourselves.

Therefore, I'll pass. I got better things to fill my time with than trying to install some manners into silly bunch of arguers, who haven't got a clue about what really is going on in here. These meaningless discussions will never end and I don't intend on wasting more effort on this. I am here for the music. But there is nothing in here related to TRANCE.

Have fun!

the most funnier thing that's happening here (and in lots of other topics) is : Promoter X Vs. Promoter Y. .... and it's only organizers who are reviewing their own events  , and they mock each other and critisize each other when they're both acting stupid (or really are stupid)... whereas no one is reviewing or describing the event as it is ...

wooooooo!

this is the main reason i left this forum ~6 years ago...

boys and girls...trance is about PLUR - Peace Love Unity and Respect
this website is called TRANCEhits....not POLITICShits
its a shame our rave scene has become like our political scene!!

yes, MixFM will be targets...its normal...they r number #1 in the business...
its like Kent trying to fuck with Marlboro
yes i heard the event was not up to certain expectations...big deal...it was big and it was a success in terms of organization and dress-code and and and..DJz always under perform...even Armin...just saw him in Rio...his set was shit imo..
just have to make the best out of every situation!! dont be pesimistic...

anyway, the event is over...more and better ones on the wayy! both from Mix and NRJ ...

and for the future, u dont like the DJ ... simply dont go
u dont like NRJ or MixFM, dont cause a political dilemma
that is NOT what music is about..

Respect to ALL organizers for bringing us these events

Peace 0X

(hi essam zouz samer selim raneem johnny and shady....long time peeps)
