TRANCED, one can't directly call someone subjective if they criticize of praise the event. It happens to be this person's opinion. Yet what's happening here is that one is being labeled according to his views.
I don't think ANYONE here could've gotten away with criticizing PvD without being treated as an enemy of MixFM, no matter how much he was being "objective". God help him if he actually said anything against MixFM itself!
And another point: If the damming criticism of PvD in this thread was absurd, then so is the sycophantic praise he's received also in this thread. Amadeus was praising his latest productions, "Home" and "We Are One". No disrespect or anything, but if it wasn't for the remixes that other artists made of these two tracks, then these releases would certainly be the crappiest things you've ever heard.
But the thing is, it is only those who criticized him that were treated as subjective people, while those praising him weren't. (And may I point out that most of those who did praise him were in fact concerned by the event, and as such would leave little doubt as to whether they were being subjective or not).
And it is only those who criticized him that were abused and that disrespectfully dismissed. No one told Amadeus to go get a life when he praised the two cheesiest tracks to ever come out.
Sure, I like you wish everyone would be objective in his evaluation of the event. I just wish for once I get a decent trance event review on this forum. But we cannot punish or repress someone if we have some suspicions about which side they're on. And we can't disrespect someone if they seem suspicious.
It seems to me that one side got away with it, while the others were directly guilty.
