System s: yes! i agree the beggening is should be softer, i tried mixing it in last day and its not very helpfull to have fast layering from the start, i will give it more space to breath.
- the beat and base Phater? wow, i thought they were already tooo phat i actually reduced to compression treshhold on them! i was aiming for a sharp "tennis ball - blank and jones" type of beat, and for the base it just eats the track up if i give it some more shape. plus don't forget in clubs they already have compressors and those are supposed to do the job
as for the bpm: yes you are right once again, my aswer to that would have to be that i was concious of this fact, the aim again was to give a "trippy" kind a weired composition to the track remember the title T3M and i don't think (to my knowledge at least) that there is a rule that says you MUST follow one bar composition till the end of the track, i think you could have a combination of 32 - 24 - 16...4 - 2. but once again i might be wrong.
