The setup looks fantastic!! Really beautiful as for the main set, well i wouldn't be surprised if PvD played a bad set no way i'd pay a vip ticket just to enjoy the view of the scene.

Since im a BIG fan of PVD, i have to post a reply here.

Johnny, your saying that pvd will play his classic 2 - 3 times. dont forget what ferry corsten played when he was in beirut on the twice in a bluemoon tour. he played all his own tracks allnight long... i think everybody knows that ! I also think if your a big susperstar dj you will surely play ur classics at the end of each set. this is a general thing .. not a PVD THING !! just wait and see what will cosmic gate play on march 13th .. i will see you there and remind you :P

As for the people saying that the main set sucks, pvd started his set with Jerome Isma-Ae - 308 , he also played under your spell (cosmic gate remix) / Carte blanche (never heared before remix), Guiseppe ottaviani - our dimension, We are one (Guiseppe Ottaviani Remix), Filo & Peri - Soul & The sun ... to name a few ...! and i think many of the tracks who pvd played are ID - ID ... how can you call this a shitty main set, dont u think the problem is you .. not PVD !! simple facts ... dont attend

You cant expect him or any superstar dj not to play his productions , but not to whore his productions all night , and play new and old tracks along with his own is a winning combination ! So far the set sounds interesting enough , maybe he will get a set right every once in a while , but for me , personally , last 3 times i saw him , he was bad ... !!

just one comment about the tracklist! it would be very much appreciated if we can rely on the opinion of people who know much about what they're talking about. it's really dumb to judge a trance tracklist by some who barely listen to trance or got not clue what they're talking about! (same thing for all other styles).

I'm not a fan of PVD (and never was), but the guy is a legend after all and surely deserves big respects!

Well Mr so called "swift"!! It's obvious that you're the one who really should read well, or I guess you don't even BOTHER reading!
PVD's tour is called Volume Album world tour, an album that focuses on his classic songs remixed = HE PLAYS HIS SONGS ALL NIGHT LONG!!

It's such a pitty & fun in the same time the way you desperately try to push & promote DJ's of your interest in this thread and bash others!

+ pics here and all over the forums, facebook and net, show if the event was "not that much" or not!!!

guys, it's NORMAL for a dj to keep promoting him/herself during a set...I do that as well!
Do you expect PVD to perform without playing at least 8 or 10 of his productions? he's been into the scene for around 15 years god damn it!
For instance, half of Cosmic Gate's set in Lebanon will be their productions (I watched them twice in the past 4 months, and watching them next month too).
If you;re just sick of PVD's production,s just don't go.
Next time you want a very diversified set, just attend B class DJs who won't "milk" their set with their own music.

no matter how you turn it and everything you say, bottom line: PVD 2010 was not a success. Go ask the people around you. some would tell you that the night was "neutral" while the majority is saying that it was a really boring night. sorry, this is the truth and all of you living in lebanon know it. though good for those who enjoyed, a release of steam in a peaceful and fun way is the best!
