Let me start by thanking you again for this truly memorable night for all the TranceHits.com crew & members and for every music-lover that was at that club that night. There really isn't much more to add after my humble review and your highly-descriptive follow-up, just that we all hope that this isn't the last of events we organize in Lebanon.
It is true that the setting wasn't too 'dance-able', but as you see most people didn't really care because the music was completely entrancing them and they just couldn't stop dancing! And it is true that the club wasn't completely full, but at least we had an educated crowd that was truly appreciative of the music and the people behind it! That doesn't mean we're only going to settle for true Trancers from now on, no: next time we should definetly broaden our advertising campaign and bring non-Trancers as well, because I believe that one of the aims of organizing such Trance events is to maximize the Trance community in Lebanon by bringing in fresh blood and getting them hooked on this sublime music.
As for the special moments you Bilal felt during that night, they surely carry great feeligns & memories for a DJ. As for me, an entity among the crowd, my peak moments of that night would have been:
1 ~ your perfect choice of an intro track - Magik Journey
2 ~ the endless smiles caused by top-notch vocal tracks like Beautiful Things, Burned With Desire, As The Rush Comes, Troy, and my Intoxicating Trance Diva with Skydive
3 ~ the slightest crystal tears, tears of joy of course, that I shed on Adagio For Strings and Suburban Train - definetly on the very top of my favorite Tiesto productions
4 ~ the truly unexpected but very hoped-for reactions I received from certain non-Trancer friends the second day telling me things like "last night was the greatest clubnight I ever had" and "I've been listening to Rap for 6 years but I never experienced such joy in music as I did last night" - now these individuals are bombarding me with messages and phonecalls asking me to burn them Trance CDs and to hurry up in the organization of our next event!
5 ~ last and definetly not least, simply the look on people's faces that night, just like the lyrics of the song I quoted in my review: "Everything will be perfect, tonight and forever... Everybody is moving, like waves make an ocean... Everybody is singing... This is happiness happening"
Planet Tiesto ~ Session 5 was a SUCCESS. And I think both Bilal and ourselves agree that this is only the beginning of our journey.
