[align=justify]^ well.. I really feel guilty in a way. I so insisted on you going and I actually made you change your plan. I ended up going and you stuck in the sun outside! Excuse me.

I arrived there with two friends of mine at around 10:00pm; the place was half full! I was surprised to see this huge number of people at this early time.

Raneem shocked me on the phone by saying: "they are saying the place is full, no one can go in anymore". I looked around and I actually saw LOT of empty spots! Poor Deema (Dee) kept on going to the entrance door doing her BEST to make Raneem and Robert come in, she failed!

It was not a successful "beach party" but I did enjoy my time with my friends.

I'll leave the rest for Kamil, I am sure he got lot of things to say.[/align]

kamil reserved for him only for 1 person & when i called they told me i can't reserve for one person so got in with kamil

how come b4 that in the morning when me & Raneem went there they said that they r not selling tickets coz there r no places anymore ?
& @ noon we got our reservation wierd! :S

@ first they told us we need reservation then they told us there is no place then they said we can get in but with couples how come there is no place but we can get in with couples ?

Oh well, since my initial plan got cancelled, i decided to go see my friends
I'm gonna start with the negative points (quite a long list imo for a small event like this):
1- The DJs:
*DJ Giro
-Track selection: 1/10
Only cuz Formentera What (Gareth Emery Remix) was played. The rest was just, literally, shit. For a beach party to be successful musically, tech-trance and commercial electro can't be played. Where's the summer feel?!
-Mixing skills: 0/10

*Jojo
-Track selection: 0/10 (same reason as mentioned above)
- Mixing skills: -5/10
Well... no change. Those who attended Fred Baker on 14 April know what i'm talking about. And WHAT THE FREAKIN FUCK was he doing with the volume ?!?!?!?!?! He even stopped a nice track 30 seconds after it begun!

*DJ Maximal
-Track selection: 7/10 (good tech and some uplifting)
Examples: Dream of Peace, Why?, Advanced.
-Mixing skills: 8.5/10
Thumbs up to this guy! I remember Roland saying after Fred Baker's event that it's worth listening to him so i tried to be patient and wait till Jojo finishes my ears torture. And it was indeed worth

2- Sound system
3/10.
Where we were, it was okay. But the beats were dominating and we couldn't hear the rare melodies very well. When we walked towards the place where the party was going on, we noticed a mega difference in the sound distribution at the bar (around 40meters from the dancefloor). One has to have hearing problems if he didn't notice this. At the bar, it was like you're in a closed room next to the dancefloor. Try this and you'll see how the sound was in an open space.

3- Service at the restaurant
3/10.
The servers got lost. I ordered something, and one guy gave me something else, then he remembered that this something wasn't for me. The cashier... no comment (must be a newbie or a lazy ass).

4- Organization & communication
1.5/10.
I was still at home at around 12:30 when Raneem called me, and said that they couldn't get in cuz there were no more places inside. He also told me that Q Entertainment (Tony is his name i think?) didn't know that the attendees have to reserve before. So i opened this topic for some bashing but then i thought that i'm gonna give it a try and reserve. At 12:40 i called the reservation number and reserved for 1 person, me only. Later i called Robert (DJ_Tracid) to be sure that he would come cuz Tala said that he wasn't there. After a while, he called me back and told me that they don't allow reservations for 1 person. Weird. Then, just for curiosity, i called them to ask if the food and beverage is included in the entrance price (18,000LL) and they said yes. Later when i got in, i realized that we have to pay for the F&B. Good thing i took more cash with me.


So, overall, 3 positive things!
1- Had a nice time with THerz, as always.
2- DJ Maximal. Got a better mood (that's the only thing concerning the event that was positive).
3- After 13 years in Lebanon i finally saw a girl wearing a string at a beach !! (she was in the dancefloor dancing on the bar ) all i was seeing before is bikinis i mean, even those gorgeous hot girls! Or was i going to the wrong places?

One last thing, just like Raneem said, i'll be personally thinking 10 times, not 2, before attending another event like this one. I wasn't planning to go anyway. I won't say and think "Fuck Q Entertainment" but "he really sucks as an organizer".
