Sunrise Festival 2009 (24=>26 July)

Sunrise Festival is an open-air event organized in Poland. Its first edition was in 2003. 24, 25 and 26 July 2009, which is that month’s last weekend, are this year’s dates for this famous event. It is a huge party for 2 days non-stop at Kolobrzeg, a small town by the Baltic Sea. On Sunday 26th July there is a party at the beach by the pier and in front of the sanatorium between 10am and 4pm. For this 7th edition, MDT Agency (which stands for Music Defeats Time) has invited the biggest names in House and Trance.

On Friday 24th July the clubbers will have the occasion to see ATB, Jochen Miller, Johan Gielen, Mark Mendes, Rank1, Sander van Doorn and Simon Patterson among others. Meanwhile on Saturday 25th July there will be Ferry Corsten, Eddie Halliwell, Sean Tyas, John O'Callaghan and Marcus Schossow to check out.

There was Fire Stage (Trance) and Water Stage (House). This year it will be the Ring Stage and the Cube Stage. Which one will be Trance and which one House? We'll see soon.

Today at 4pm CET was the first day of ticket sales online. The quota was sold out in less than 10 minutes. The prices were 124zl (34$), 144zl (40$), 166zl (45$) and 188zl (51$). Carnets were priced at 240zl (65$) and VIP package at 500 (137$). One ticket is for one night only.

A little statistic: last year 30,000 clubbers attended the event.

^ I have no idea never heard of them. And i doubt that MDT Agency would book people of the kind of malaria & cholera quality music whether House or Trance is played at Sunrise this is a professional agency, not kiddos who made the Ayam shit

There is a bit of commercial house at the beach afterparty. What's really cool about the afterparty is that you don't have to buy the ticket to be there the beach is not closed to people. Everyone comes to tan and play and swim. There's just this area by the pier that is for the clubbers. You can listen to the music 200 meters away from the "dancefloor" for free same for the outdoor stage (the parking). There is a promenade behind the parking and a parc in the forest (the amphitheater (Ring or Cube stage) and its parking is surrounded by a forest). You don't get to see the DJs and dance in the crowd but you can listen very very clearly to the music just by standing outside
