Twice In A Blue Moon is a trance / electronic album released by Ferry Corsten on November 1st, 2008, at his 2nd Edition of the Full On Ferry Gig. November the 3rd, 2008, will be the official release date to purchase outwith the Full On Ferry Gig. The first single released from the album was "Brain Box" in 2007, before the album was even announced.

The album is inspired by many goings on in Ferry's life, including the birth of his daughter, Gabriella Skye. The album got it's name from a program about Roses Ferry was watching, which featured a Rose called 'Once in a Blue Moon'. He also stated that he felt it was fitting because of the Birth of his new daughter, and also having his wife's love. The love of these two persons was considered so special by Ferry that 'Twice in a blue moon' was considered as an appropriate name. The album has went through various changes, including tracks such as "Made Of Love", which originally never featured vocals. Ferry decided to add vocals after playing the Track live a few times as Ferry does to test some new songs out. Ferry Fix & Flashover mixes are to be expected of tracks "Made Of Love" & "Gabriella's Sky" according to Ferry in an interview with Trance.nu.

Twice In A Blue Moon is a new step in Ferry's sound and a new style transition from his last album L.E.F.. L.E.F. is more of a protest against Trance music due to its predictability, thus resulting in a more Electronic sounding Album. Regarding the design of the album, Ferry's trademark 'F' logo was used to make the album stand out and to fit the style of the music featured on the album. This also makes it easily recognizable to Ferry's Fans and new fans
