Everybody else might be worring about wars, terror, about crises and the fear of standing still, but none of all that is going to spoil this party. At Alcatrazz you tank energy and live a better world for one night in this unique place. A night of togetherness, where no one is fighting for territories, raw materials or religion view. It’s a place where you can leave the rat race fare behind, a place which never stands still, where things always keep moving, in harmony with the music, peace and tolerance. The Alcatrazz Ruin is a place of diversity. It un fold more then enough space on 3 floors for different sounds of our music culture! And because there´s always something new to be discovered, we invited international DJs, new talents, female artists and supports new styles.
After work on this project over more then one year, Ron van den Beuken presents together with his parnters his first Festival “Alcatrazz”. The name was selected because Alcatraz stays for the most popular prision and fort in theworld, that is also named "The Rock" and looks very similar to the Ruin. Ron van den Beuken also produce for this festival a new anthem that will relased under the title "Alcatrazz".
It has been almost three hundred years ago, that the German Lieutenant general Frederik Otto von Westerholt-Sonsveld, who loved music, entertainment and amusement, illegally settled in castle of Huy ster Horst. From that moment on, the castle was notorious for the parties which von Westerholt initiated there.
We are proud to announce the beginning of a new dimension. On the 9th of June this unique location will be the scenery for Alcatrazz, the biggest outdoor dance festival in the region. Providing you the best national and international deejays in house, trance, techno and hardstyle, 3 different areas, a food village and a chill out area, The Alcatrazz Festival has all the ingredients to become a day for celebration, a center of love that you will remember!
