DJ BREAKS WORLD RECORD

Michal Bures aka DJ Blue has set a new world record in DJing, playing music continuously for 81 hours, 6 minutes and 32 seconds.

The attempt took place in a very small club called Lubina in the Czech Republic and was transmitted live over the Internet.

DJ Blue started his attempt on Thursday, March 11th at 11am, and finished on Sunday, March 14th just after 7pm local time.

The old record officially recognised by the Guinness Book of World Records was 74 hours, and was set by U.S. DJ Martin Boss back in 2001.

During the attempt DJ Blue could only rest for 15 minutes after every eight hours. He described how he coped with the fatigue: "I did have several crises, but I regenerated my energy with fruits, nuts, Red Bull and honey, and this helped me in difficult moments.â€

loool.i cudnt find what he played.but i think he played house and techno.
who knows..maybe he went outta vinyls and played jazz.

i keep wondering why unsigned djs,and unknown djs break records,and not even one of the worlds top 100 djs.

whats to be broken other than this record? and it aint usually quantity that gets u to the top, its quality

bXtreme is right...
for my point of view and with all respect to him and to he's record but it dsnt mean anythin to me, its kool and a hard work and he did a good job but at the end it dsnt worth much.
Big Dj's dont need todo that, its useless, imagine PVD spining non stop for like a week or 2, it might put him down instead of givin him success.

Aside of all these, i have a project close to that one, but it has a goal and a meaning, i wanted to fight the ISRAELI conquer of some parts of Leb and Palestine, by spining me and who ever would join me, spinin non stop right there on that silly wall they did, until they just remove it and find a peacfull solution for all that, they wont be able to fight us or kick us far cus i will make sure that all the media from arorund the world will be filming us and broadcasting all these on radio and internet radios and TV.
Weapons and politics did not work to solve these probs, i think music can do something, as it did change the life of many of you somehow... specialy Trance!

Any volonteer? hehe
But no seriously, i am gonna do that, when ever am ready for it.
