It was my first time i go check the scene in Batroun, and from what i've managed to see, things are going very well and live up to the hype Batroun has been getting lately..
Moving on to Centro, the place is very nice and neat, small a little but what makes up is the amazing sound system! one of the best that i've witnessed in Lebanese clubs! with even a lazer inside, light show, and a smoke machine!! (but pls easy with the smoke machine, i was almost going to suffocate at some times..)
the DJ booth is very unique at this club, being situated above the bar, the view from it is very wicked though to reach it might be somehow hazardeous..
anyway, as we entered the club, there was the resident DJ playing some down tempo house tunes and slowly increasing the pace.. dropping some nice tracks everywhile and then (like "twelve", "do what you want" and "lyteo" though it was played twice..
)
at around 1:00, the place was fully packed with a huge excitment in the air and ppl eagerly waiting to check on AMADEUS play in front of them, as the owner of the club introduced the man, the DJ, AMADEUS dropped in Magic Wave - Escape Form Absolom (DJ Shahs Intro Mix) the screams were high, the lights were off and the night has just officially started..)
AMADEUS kept on pounding one track after another, and the mood was very receptive, ppl appreciated Trance a lot and was surprised to c many actually singing along and recognizing many of the tracks that has been played.. (if ppl are interested i could provide a tracklist for AMADEUS' set)
at around 4:00 the place was still crowded and as AMADEUS was closing his set (with Advanced followed by Industrialise he took on the mic thanking the hundreds that were cheering him before he finally dropped the last bomb Playmo before another DJ took on the decks)
the afterhour DJ started off with Serenity and continued with a trancy set as we were leaving the club at the sound of Jan Loper's - I Cant Stop to return back to Beirut...
Just another amazing night with lots of trance and good ppl!! it was a delight to go discover a new place and be able to enjoy a night hassle-free!
