i came to the church at 11:10 PM. There was relatively no line... (my Designated driver was pissed cause he thought it was gonna be off the hook). and my GF was quite tripping on Acid...Anyways, we got in with a cover charge of 10$ only... never got into the church with a cheeper cover than 30$... so my DD wasn't complaining that much anymore lol.
i asked the bouncer if danny was on the decks yet or not... of course he had no clue who danny was... but he told me that main event DJ's don't get on the decks before 12:00 pm... so i was like good enough. I went to the Hip hop section to the request of my crew... and when i came back.. danny was on the decks
what i first heard is what seemed like Tribal house... within 2 minutes it turned to Techno.. then Techno house... then progrssive... and it remained progressive for a good hour or so... and u know what?
it fucking moved me just as much... Danny is one of the most versatile DJs that i have ever witnessed in my life... while never sacrificing... producing the best in WHATEVER genre he senseses that it would appeal most to his crowd.
i soon had to fight for my dancing area next to the DJ booth.
i'm a firm believer that the quality of the DJ can be reflected by the quality of dancing in the event (its called E.D.M for a reason after all). and i was amazed by the amount of braking and popping in that event... that i was ashamed to contribute my own
Moral of the Story... i was told that Danny was a rollercoster ride.... but i was sceptical... that any dj... no matter how good... would be able to portray some admirable skills in 1.5 hours.
My whole body is itching to Wtness Danny.. spinning to an educated crowed... what he spinned in the first 20 minutes in denver
He is comming to Dubai soon and i humbly belive... that if there is anyreason for u to travel outside of lebanon.... this would be it.
