I think they ended the party after PvD because they wanted to clean up the mess, u know ppl wanna go the beach on sunday, and it will take time to clean the place.

It's time for me as part of Mix FM to clarify some points that might be starting some rumors we surely don't wish to spread.
Either you think it happened or not, heard it from a friend or not, died or got OD'ed (or whatever you call it) at PvD's gig saturday. We do not wish to spread such rumours at all about this particular event which was crowned as the most successful clubbing event ever to be held in Lebanon. If something that serious had happened last saturday, the event would have been stopped and the venue would have been shut down and Mix FM would be in serious trouble today with all the sanctions and the formal procedures that such thing would require. Bottom line : not 1 single phone call for complaint about what so ever. Just calls to praise the hardwork and effort that Mix FM and Bacardi Breezer have put to realise this dream that came true thanks to every clubber in Lebanon and the Middle East. I think it's for the sake of this forum and every one of us not to mention any rumor that might be harmful to other parties.
You might be wondering why the event was terminated after PvD finished his set, it's simply to prevent more exhaustion and alcohol drinking that could lead any person into danger on the way back from Rmeileh and eventually risk anyone else's life in result of the extensive partying and drinking. It's a long way from the beach home to most of the people who were there so it was the right thing to do.
Finally, either this subject was brought up here or not: Mix FM, Bacardi Breezer or any person from the staff did NOT sell any tickets for double, triple or any other price. It was true and obviously normal that a black market for tickets was going on outside the venue but we weren't involved in it under any circumstances.
I think everything is clear now and I hope we all progress hand in hand to make the clubbing scene grow further in Lebanon so that we remain on the global clubbing map whatever happens.

well guys, you've heard it from the source! i guess this eliminates any doubts and/or rumours!
btw, just for the records, (and this is my own opinion) in case someone died at any event wether OD'ed, danced till his heard exploded, or simply got a heart attack from the wonderful playlist played by the DJ! it's never the responsibility of the organizer or the promoter.. they simply cant control everyone and know if this person took something, got pissed drunk or starved to death!! the people who dont care for their own lives shouldnt be the responsibility of anyone else!!
bottom line: it was a great night! a night to remember and we all enjoyed our time their and that's what really counts!
