i had a great time with u all what a crazy night... what a fantastic set but the place wasn't nicely decorated the setup sux!!! & i have one thing to say: PLZ STOP THIS FUCKIN' SMOKING MACHINE
it was like the movie ALIEN or something we couldn't see anything ahead us like we were on mars facing a desert strom

first of all i wana 10x someone in here who really provided with a HUGE help!!! 3anjad 10x!!!!

second i really was disappointed !!! nothing special at all! i left at 2:30!here s what i noticed :
the setup sucks bad! the center was really really crowded so u ct see the djs unless u approach to the middle and be part of the massacre!i swear i was crushed !!!
so when i decided to get back the sound system was totally weak so i couldn t hear anything at all!
og yeah and there was no lightnings at all! i swear when i arried inside iw as kind of a blind person who couldn t see anyone! there was only in the center the small set of lights that only focused on teh djs! but later on the lazer were set! but still i must say that with the budget u paid for this setup, u could have DONE WAY BETTER!

regarding the djs! i heard most of dean s set and i was disappointed! really if u focuse on his set, u can notice the trainwrecks !!! still he managed to pull out a decent set!

i heard only an hour for deep dish and got bored so i left!i thought they d kill us with something special ! i dunno maybe i got bored from the house events! it was kind of monotonic night !!!!!

i was delighted that i finally met MARQUIS who happens to be a really nice guy!!!
compared to digweed, i must say deep dish wasn t that good to me!

plz fix the sound system and go back to the original set up!!!

and BTW DON'T PUT OPERA COMBINED WITH THE EXTERIOR MUSIC IN THE CHILL OUT ROOM!

SETUP: i couldn't disagree more with those who complained about the setup. i loved it! very nice look, the way the dj was in the middle with the 2 sections flanking him.
it is waaaaaaaaaaay better than the previous tuna-can/corridor setup in the warehouse where there were people continuously going frontwards and backwards and stepping on u every 10 sec. didn't have this problem this time!.
i liked the laser location and minimal lighting (darkish room). carpetting was also great (thank u!)

MUSIC: AMAZING!!
the first 3 hours when sharam played were '3ade' for me. there were some really good tracks played but the majority was so-so. i was actually contemplating leaving but i decided to wait to see what ali had to offer. i guess i was very well rewarded for staying. at 4 am, ali came, and delivered one of the sickest darkest sets i'v ever heard! sharam came back again at shi 5:15 and kept dropping one amazing track after another. i wish his first 3 hours were more like this! i ended up leaving at 6.

SOUND: unfortunately this has got to be one of the worst sound distribution and sound quality setups for mix fm! despite the fact that i liked the stage, the sound absolutely sucked! unless u were standing right next to a speaker or right next to the stage, u wouldn't feel anything.


oh, and one more thing, it seems most of the complaints/comments in this thread actually depend on where u were standing in the warehouse.
if u thought the stage was high, then u were probably standing at the very very front. if the stage was lower, u would be able to see the dj better but everyone else in the warehouse would not be able to see him...
also, the smoke machine. u wouldn't feel the smoke machine unless u were standing right next to it (which i think was at the left side of the very front of the center stage)
and also, if u thought the sound was great, then again, u were probably only standing in the very center to the front, bec it sucked in the rest of the room.
anyways, the point i'm trying to make is, when you'r at a gig, and something is bothering u so much, the immediate solution is very simple and very effective: just change your location!
for the 1st 1/2 hour when i was in the warehouse yesterday, the place were i was standing with my friends had extremely lousy sound. so i just decided to move to a spot with stronger sound (right next to a speaker). the sound was still not that good, but it was better, and it was better than just staying in the same spot i was originally in and ruining my night... u should do the same when something is annoying u (especially that smoke machine that seems to bother u so much )

but immagine all the people just changed their location..
the place will be half empty on one side LOL

Anyway hope that these complains will really be taken into consideration.

yeah smoke machines and too much ppl !! sound system wasnt very good too but i stayed in the front so i had no prb with that !
but come on guys u make it look disastrous it wasnt that bad !
