I went to leon bolier & joop in underground...A cube did a pretty good job...so did johny,the only prob he mixed some old tracks just like dash berlins till the sky falls down..leon did an outstandin job with his set...but i honestly thought the management was bad....so unexperienced clubbers and tektonik freaks and emos were there....underground just wasnt good enough for leon bolier...

lol ...bout the old tracks i do not disagree with it ..but u know..ive been listenin 2 dash berlins track since 4ever...nekit rasseh l ghiniyeh literally...bout the club ...im not an expert in findin the perfect club and all but all i was sayin that underground wasnt the right place 2 do such event i mean its a new club thats a 1st,no1 knows bout it thats a 2nd,if u disagree with wat i just said then i dnt know lol...

1- ^it's a GAY club. It's not a place for an international event.

2- all the clubs in beirut are unfortunately only interested in house artists (the countable ones they heard of) and they are too greedy with too many conditions that all go in their favor.

and no there aren't a thousand clubs in Lebanon, especially ones who are willing to host trance events be my guest to go and ask around and you can come back with the same results!

3- It wasn't a failure in my book. failure is getting 10-20 people to an international event. we had around 250, and it's true we might have lost a lot of money but the event went really well and everyone who went there came out with a good impression

First of all you are discussing this in the wrong thread.
But a few remarks for you.
You mentioned earlier "You are not an expert in finding the right club and all "So based on which scale you discovered that Underground is a bad club?
Neither the organizer nor the club holds responsibility to it's attendance people need to move on,yes everyone gets annoyed from certain group or style of people but complaining about it over and over is getting lame and old,this is how the current scene is,this is a small percentage of your audience if you don't like it,stay home next time (generally speaking)

Johnny did a great effort to make the event happen and he delivered what people supposely Paid for Good Music!
Leon and joop were there,the sound was more than great,maybe not 100% perfect during Alain's set but if i had to complain that would be the only thing i'd complain about.
I don't know what are the expectations some lebanese people put in mind before going to clubs or events,nothing seems to satisfy anyone.
