in general the event was good, RVDB's set was good but not that great! - he played a couple of great tracks that i couldnt ID but cant wait to lay my hands on them once released - other than that he played his style of a mashup between tech and hard uplifting which what he usually do in his sets..

I would like to mention one thing though that some people might not like his set but i dont see there's a need to get shocked at what he played, eventhough he overplayed tiesto tracks, if any would check his usual sets he/she will easily find out that this is his style and last friday was nothing different!

to get back to the warmup, i think amadeus pulled one of his best warmups up till now in my opinion, he knew well how to buildup the mood and set the people in the perfect place for RVDB to start his set by gradually going up in tempo and style!

the negative point that was important and missing is the fact that there was no redcross or any other ambulences which is a serious threat!! the setup was cool and the sound system was good enough. in addition to the fireshow and hoop dancers whom i love their sweet way of dancing!

Q entertainment and my friend Cardiac managed yet again to bring a decent event with good overall organization.

honestly, i started to hate the anti-tiesto people.
I understand that overplaying tiesto might not be okay with you, but it seems ur ears get ruined whn u listen to even 1 tiesto's track ??
Come on! Face it people..Some tiesto's tracks are bad, but others are so good..And some new ones r good too, with their remixes also!!

Im sure that when a dj plays a HOT PROMO track that noone heard, you'll all ask about it..And im sure that if u know that it's by Tiesto, you'll just ignore it, even though it's good! :)

Plz stop these childish comments, and GROW UP!

PS: I couldn't stay silent anymore concerning this issue..Yes i hated many Tiesto tracks, but i still love many of his works, especially his new releases, In The Dark and Break My Fall! :)

Please don't tell me it's all about tastes; you "anti-tiesto forever" people just like to be unique.

actually guys i believe that dropping some of tiesto's tracks was nice......especially his intro was brilliant playing that richard durand remix of lethal industyy
the event was good, but i didn't get in the techy mood until Ron dropped PLATINUM.....w the b2b was great, both DJ's supplied the crowd with hard tech tunes they demanded!!
hope everyone had fun....w nice to meet u to spyro
cheers

It was a nice event with so many happy faces. My opinion in Amadeus might be personal but what the heck I will say it anyways he's DA man :) As for RVDB I so wanted to listen to his sets live & my wish came true. Even though he played a lot of Tiesto tracks (my dabke pics explains how wazawiz dance to it) the night in general was awesome. Few comments though:
1) No ambulances even though I saw someone lying outside like a dead guy. His friends were helpin & the army were watching
2) Sound system was mainly focused on the center at first I was near the bar but then moved to the center
3) A big THANK YOU to the organizers for letting us park in the forum yard
4) Visuals were superb thanks GFX!!
5) Setup, fire dancers & flame throwers were amazing
6) Being an anti-drugs individual I have to mention the big round circles (eyes) on top of the ceiling. Personally I wouldnt want the junkies to enjoy their night tripping/halucinating over these big round eyes. But I guess we got used to them over the past few years.

Last but not least I want to thank Q Ent. & Cardiac for their hard work invested in this event which led to fruitful results. Kudos guys & keep up the good work.

It was a really nice event, Amadeus played some nice tracks warming up the crowd... but damnnn i never knew Tiesto's In the Dark was such of a hypnosis track to the lebanese crowd.. lol amadeus played it twice.. and everytime people would rush into center and start going crazy.. hahaha very funny. I was reaaaalllly glad to meet Spyro and Icepick.. very Diverse individuals yet they both meet at the same line when it comes to music, except spyro beats himself while Icepick studies the beat lol :D.. Khalid great night bro.. and i thought i saw some familiar faces but hey a rave isnt a coffee shop.. so enjoy! Great After Set Amadeus +++

I wanted:

Ferry Corsten - Fire (Ron Van Den Beuken Remix)
Jesselyn - Contact (I doubt the speakers would've handled it hehehe)

But thanx for Lemon Tree .. shadi.. hit the spot :D
Tech Trance incorporates traditional elements of Techno, with its repetitive nature and strong 4/4 beat, while deriving the melodic elements from Trance. Tech Trance compositions tend to have a tempo of around 135-150 BPM. Tech Trance tends to utilize a more driving sound while commonly using distortion as an effect on the melodies. Also, the melody containing strings and pads will begin once the beat has completely stopped, playing by itself much like a Trance breakdown.
