it's been a while since the last gig i went to, so i was really looking forward to this one; and i can't remember the last time i had such a lousy time at an event.
sound system was the worst since oakenfold last year. not only was it weak, but the sound quality was lousy too.
lighting setup was anorexic. no laser, nothing, just a meager few lights around the dj booth. and that flashing white light annoyed the shit out of me. you'r supposed to turn that thing on shi 2-3 times during the whole night (for a few seconds), not keep it on straight for 4 hours!!

st george is a really beautiful location, 3anjad di3ana to be handled by such an amateur organizer.
judge jules' track selection was great, but u just couldn't feel the music on that shitty sound system.
and having jes sing right after him has got to be an atrociously stupid decision. she sucked out whatever energy there might have been in the crowd, as around half of them left 15 min into her 'live performance'.
she should have played before him. u just DON'T follow up a hard trance set with a live vocal trance act

it seems that dannyb has gotten back to his old money-oriented philosophy. plaster the whole country with fliers and posters for exposure, and save as much money as possible during the event itself by providing a shitty sound system and a shitty lighting setup.
i think he must have gotten wind that there wasn't going to be a big turnout (due to low pre-event ticket sales) and decided to go cheap on the event to save money. well let me tell u something, giving such a poor experience to people who DID show up (and thought u still might be able to provide a decent experience) means u just lost a whole bunch of other customers! bravo, good job!
