We just want to thank everybody who came yesterday and everybody that helped us during our stay here, we are also asking for your feedback so we know the positive aspects aswell as the negative ones, and your opinion on every single dj that played there.

Thanks again, our next event will be even bigger and better.

Well well I'll post some pictures later on, but here are my comments:
1st-Place was really good as pTq said:
"<imagine amazing music +view of beirut reaching to the north >so dreamyyyyyyyy."

2nd-Took me 2 min to get in I came at 11h30

and I had no tickets yet

( <== I think I was a bit lucky coz other people stayed hours to get in!)

3rd-Sorry to say but didnt like the warmup, donno who was playin at 11h30 till 1h but the mixes where kinda poor + the tracks NO COMMENT, I'll just mention:

DJ Yuri - Do you know what it feels when u fcuk on cocaine...
Barthezz - On the move <== WTF! ???

4th- Then came Oakie was expecting also a poor set, but I was soooo surprised to see him play lots of ISOS tunes

+ some Tiesto tracks like:
-Traffic
-Love comes again.
& I'll add to ZooZ list:
Sunset in Ibiza.

So helll yeah Oakies set was good had lots of fun listening and dancing to the crazy tunes he played. Tnx for this amazing night and I must say the organization was really good since you could get ur drinks easier than the previous gigs we had in leb.

The Event was Great, I Liked The Music That Mad Jam Played, Great MIX !! Oakie Was Great ! But He played some commercial stuff ..

Trancexual, MadJam played his music as usually
JOJO Played trance, 1st track: Forever today and he also played adagio for strings and a track of johan gielen as i remember
Sean Moraes played house, he played :"call on me"(Eric prydz..)
Danny b Played Fuck on Cocaine as i remember (I dont remember what kind of music he played, i was stoned lol)

my 2 cents:

we arrived at around 11:30.. took us ages till we got in..

i still remember me and ptq were hearing Ferry Corsten's Punk.. but too bad we were still way back in line.. till i had to use my accent to get us in.. lool..

n e way.. as were goin up the stairs dannyb was playing on the move by dj barthez..
we got in and 10 mins later oakie was there.. they should've announed that he has stepped in to dj.. n e way..
I didn't like it at all once we stepped in and i felt like leaving.. but as time passed i started getting into it.. oakie made the crowd go crazy but what i didn't like bout his set (as me and ptq discussed this) that he made us go all crazy and then he brings the mood back down.. and then he'd bring us all back up.. and it'll be harder for us to b all crazy again after he makes us calm..( i hope u get what i mean).. there is no doubt that this guy has skills .. and not any skills im talkin top dj skills (i heard one trainwreck) but that's normal.. and yes.. he did make it up for last yr.. i read alotta reviews bout oakie being careless when mixing but he really gave beirut a an amazing time that they won't forget.. sound system was really good.. lighting was good as well ( i wish they had more of those green lasers lol).. the tracklist was cool but as trancexual said, it had alotta oldies.. i recognized alotta tunes but just didn't know their names.. a moment that i won't forget was when oakie had a tune on and i was thinking in my head that he greece 2000 would really fit perfectly now.. and yup.. he brings it right on.. i went crazy over this song (my all time favorite) but i just wished he played his remix.. his reaction with the crowd was ok not as good as dannyb though...

DannyB was lookin more to satisfy the crowd than oakie in my opinion.. he played tracks more known to the crowd such as adagio for strings, flight 643, lethal industry and lethal industry (too much tiesto in there made me sick by the end of it)...the second tune he dropped was randy katana's fancy fair 2005 and that was a bomb to the crowd...i really enjoyed dannyb tracklist as i almost knew more than 3/4th of them but damn i can't remember shit from last night.. dannyb's skills are undoubtfully amazing too... i liked the way he interacted with the crowd (definatly gave him kudoos for that)..

to top it all.. one fuckin amazing night.. and definatly worth the vip tickets since when i wanted to have my own space id just go the vip section and dance like crazy and when i wanted to b with the crowd id just go 2 the dancefloor... for those who didn't come all i say is u've missed one hell of a night.. a night not to be forgotten...

there u have it... my review for the night... DAMN.. i still feel like dancing even though my back and feet are killin me.... i just can't wait for another event...

to all the other djs.. im sorry i wasn't there!
