Is it the crowd? Is it the lovely spirit? Is it the classy Music?
Beirut is still alive people, its heart keeps on beating harder and tougher every single day and each time all of our energy is finally released. The crowd wouldn’t be nothing without the lovely united spirit, and the spirit is nil without its acquiescence to the Music.
Yesterday was a live example for what I’m talking about, the clubbing experience that Beirut has witnessed is unique and differs from weekend to another; last Saturday night Beirut was the eyewitness of one good quality performances in the world, representing the Clubbers’ Dj himself, Danny Howells. Yet past night, things might have been different, prettier maybe: the vibes … the sensation … the style … the spirit, astounding!
My highlight of the night -despite the fact that De Hey was the main DJ- is the humble guy and my dear friend maDJam. Are these real decks you spin on? Is it factual music you offer? Is it marvelous passion you give? Is it an exceptional gift from God? I.AM.SPEECHLESS.
The warm up set astonished us last night and the music played amazed the clubbers Beginning to End. Yes! I say Beginning to unreal End, waw … I got in to the venue at the very first moments of the lovely warm-up. It was probably an empty space at this time, and I was the only female on the Dance-Floor supporting and enjoying the music provided by the man himself. It was a stylish and tasteful performance from maDJam as for a second I could have peed in my pants just for the sake of not leaving the Dance-Floor and wasting split seconds of that fascinating warm-up by entering the huge and non-ending trippy tunnel. MUCH respect dear Ahmad!
Is it THE funky techno sound we always hear? Maybe …
Is it THE style we can sometimes get? Might be …
However, could it be THE SAME Techno and Fancy Tech House Performance or Show we can frequently observe in our country? No … he is the famous Techno/Tech House Dj/Producer. Ladies and Gentlemen, I represent Coxy’s number one protégé and most influential Dj: Michel De Hey. The man proved himself yesterday night, and De Hey’s professional solid skills were certainly attested. The main DJ took over the decks right after the delectable warm-up by maDJam. What a gorgeous intro! Michel De Hey launched the peak of Techno and Tech House music with a charismatic filthy bass-line which was a HUGE dance-floor mover. The combination of both techno and house fashioned a magnificent atmosphere packed with some really delightful positive vibes: large smiles and blissful looks on everyone’s face can make you feel so good, comfy with yourself and free to dance, jump, and get pleasure from the tasty and sophisticated music offered by De Hey. The flow of the main set remained with the same fancy elegance, as up and downs were pretty marked and noticeable during De Hey’s play. Beats per Minute were merrily entering my ears, playing with my mind and joyfully leaving me in a happily cool mood.
What Michel De Hey offered took every single clubber to an admirable tremendous state of mind, a sensual passionate feeling makes us shiver inside. My heart kept on beating non-stop, the affection and love for music transformed the venue into a divine sanctuary.
Techno was good, Tech House was pleasant, bass and beats bowled us over and left us speechless again, sleepless forever.
Michel De Hey made last night a memorable and remarkable one in the history of our Clubbing experience.
Unfortunately I couldn’t stay too much time in order to have the chance and get to hear what Stamina had to offer, however I can sense that the night went good overall with Stamina as I’ve listened to many closing ups for him showing his real talent and passion for music. Hence a feedback from who stayed and got the chance to hear him play would be much appreciated!
I was personally glad to meet up with new faces and partying with them as well; also raving with some good close friends goes unsaid, I love you all.
Thank you MixFM and BLive for another sleepless and unforgettable night!
Till the next one I guess.
That’s almost everything from me now, I guess. I would also love to know your personal opinion about the night.
