Review: Armin Van Buuren, December 30th

After sobering up from Armin's event and NYE, it's time to just say: HOLY WOW!!
what an event! what a tracklist! and a pre-NYE party!
having been almost a year away from any event, I was somehow excited for any decent DJ let alone be it the almighty Armin whom i personally think still is delivering the best tracklists! but Dec 30 was different! Dec 30 was much more!!
the set up was magnificent, so many stage action, non stop dancers, acrobats, fireworks and crazy lighting made the night extremely memorable not to forget the beautiful visuals on the huge screen behind the DJ booth and of course the going crazy-dancing-always jumping Armin that really cant but get everyone overexcited just by watching how happy and emotional he still gets when playing trance.
getting into music, the night started with AMADEUS opening up with a beautiful set of prog beauties in an attempt to slowly building up the mood, and the mood was built up probably faster than expected as the crowd was jumping by the mid of AMADEUS' set all the way till the end when it was time for Blake Jarrell to start his warm up set.
Blake's set was what a warm up set should be. the perfect style with the perfect buildup with beautiful tracks thrown one after the other making his set a smooth transition from the opening set to Armin's. I was really impressed by him as a DJ as much as I was by his production skills. This guy is absolute class and really knows what to do and when to do it! great addition to the night by all means.
Now to Armin's set, the hype was over the limit, people literally going crazy and with an oozing intro Armin started his incredible set, pounding one track after the other, mixing newest tracks with some old ones just playing beautiful music. Going through the crowd it was clear how almost everybody was blown away by his set and many were not believing what's really happening! A major positive shock!!
nothing can describe his set more than the tracklist itself which will be posted in a different topic. unfortunately i couldnt stay more to check maDJam's set as i left around 10 past 5 and Armin was still playing and most ppl were still inside enjoying every moment of it!
by all means a great night and one hell of a party!
