Saturday August 11th, Psy Session 4 – The Beach Version...
Venue: Blue Bay Beach – Batroun… Beautiful spot for a psy rave, amazing scenery, the sea shore right in front of us… Rocks, sand, grass area, stunning beach bar… It was perfect!
It was PSYLEB’s first outdoor psychedelic rave. The main theme was aliens and psychedelic colors. The decoration was backdrops everywhere, covering the rocky hills, sweet designs climbing up all over the place… The most beautiful part of the deco was our baby alien! He was standing up in the sky watching his psyheads do the dance! Thx to Cosmic Orgasm & me inside for a superb invention!
The lighting system was just the perfect amount; we kept our promise and brought you the trippy laser beams
As for the visuals, Numbskull did a fantastic job, took us far away to places we’ve never been to with his colourful creative mind-twisting designs… Respect!
The crowd, the crowd, the crowd!!! I’m speechless! Crazy heads, happy people, positive positive positive! U made PsySession 4 happen not us… With ur stomping feet, trippy minds, beautiful spirits and lovely smiles! You were dancing all over the place… Each and every one of u in his/her comfort zone, enjoying PSYLEB aliens’ tunes!
The night kicked off with Moudy’s minimal and quality house tunes, got our fellow psyheads warming up, moving around beautifully as the sun was going down in the sea… Harmonious set, was a just right start…
At 8 pm, I (Krax) got on the decks, the place was starting to fill up… I played an intro that I have prepared consisting of vocals and heartbeats, gave me goosebumps (I donno about the crowd
)… I went on with my favourite progressive psy tunes… The surprise was Yahel’s remix of “Inta Omri” by Om Kolthoum… It was a killer… Ending with a couple of psy tracks as the cherry on top! I was suffering from the lack of light, sorry about the few mixing mistakes PSYLEBers, but trust me it was pure darkness up there Until I got some black light in front of me! I’ll make it up next time…
At 10:15 pm, it was Johnny’s set to kick off… Very positive guy, great spirit and active on the stage… A wonderful guest DJ who really made the psyheads spin! The best of global and goa trance tunes… Almost a little bit of everything, it was crazy!
Midnight… Psychogenesis, the most energetic DJ I’ve ever seen… What an intro!!! Everyone was happy, smiling, laughing, jumping, screaming for Psychogenesis! Cartoonish sounds singing the ABCDEFG, then welcoming the ravers! First of all, Psychogenesis started with a lesson, how to make a trance track! We start with some kicks and some BEATS! Booooom there he was! The crowd went lunatic with Psychogenesis, he has a fabulous way of interacting with the crowd and with each and every little bit of his music… Three hours of non-stop morning and twilight psy! The motivated brain behind PSYLEB made it happen, got the crowd STOMPING with madness, happiness and love! U have a real DRIVE… I don’t know what to say, it was perfect bro!
At 3 a.m. the fire Dark Dragon was up on the decks… He was ready to take the crowd to darkness! The intro, he never fails to impress us! It was a chunk of the movie “300”… Mixed with the Dark Dragon’s jingle… It got the crowd so anxious and heartbeats got faster until we all heard “SPARTAAAAA” roar! There he was! Dark bass-lines, built up the dance floor! The surprise, the big surprise, got everyone overjoyed, over the moon! Dark Dragon’s own remix of Grendizer’s theme song, everyone was tripping on that one… Dark Dragon impressed the crowd; even with a hurt shoulder he did it!
It was 5 a.m.! Subdog showed up… Walking calmly on the stage next to us, waiting for Dark Dragon’s set to end, you can tell that he was preparing something huge! He kicked off! He banged our heads with his hard and acid breaks, wonderful DJ! We couldn’t stop dancing to his tunes, he got everyone hyped up all over again… Subdog, it was a pleasure to meet u and a trip to outer space with your music… It was just what the crowd needed at sunrise! Thank u!
Throughout the night, the fire tornado ladies entertained the crowd with a stunning hula-hooping and fire show…
Last but definitely not least! On behalf of PSYLEB, we would like to thank Chaos Online Radio Station for broadcasting live and covering the event… Chaos’s crew have a superb spirit, amazing guys… U were a major part of the success, full support from PSYLEB!
